Life of vignanities (School life) in engineering

Management is not student friendly and they always try to impart different rules on students here rather than improving education and skill development programs

Vignan has good infrastructure facilities and good name for campus placement with moderate college fee in Visakhapatnam city It also has bus facility for both the college bus and APSRTC bus and nearer to the railway station And mostly it attracts because of its infrastructure and management

In VIRGON college there will two types of students autonomous and non-autonomous as college became autonomous just in the year 2017 We are at present affiliated to JNTU Kakinada and we receive degrees under that institution So we should follow JNTUK syllabus and rules for the selected course we are provided with curriculum books and we follow them for exams.

In vignan we don't have any internships or industrial visits or any industry yours but always tries to conduct workshops on technology any guest lectures puts something to introduce us to present industrial problems and their solutions

I am studying mechanical engineering and in vignan institution campus placements are very rare for mechanical companies and industries due to previous experience of low performance by students but brings more number of software and IT company for computer , electrical and electronic engineering students and says that with proper training more placements can be done in all trades of engineering

Vignan is said to be home of events among the engineering colleges in Visakhapatnam we have an event every month like cultural fest, technical fest, intercollege competition, and sports are part of the cultural fest. we enjoy very much while participating in these events and it's more fun on these times and participation teaches more things than the class work and it truly helps in refreshing minds

Vignan Institute of information technology Visakhapatnam is said to be one of the top colleges in Visakhapatnam and there are many facilities provided by the college and maintenance is fine so the college fees stipulated on the institute is not less but moderate for middle-class people and comparatively more for poor people some say it's expensive and some feel it's okay so it depends on the personal

College provides a scholarship for selected students based on their merit and economical situation and there will be no loan availed by any student until I know I have only govt scholarship it is provided for all members admitted through entrance exam

Vignan is undoubtedly a school life and it creates some form of ill feeling coming to college due to its strict rules and regulations, in vignan female to male ratio is high in female students as the institute is ragging free, if we talk about extracurricular activities college doesn't provide anything but encourages if we are interested we have to learn on our interest. Labs are well equipped and well maintained and ensure well-skilled operators, sports are not part of college and have some college teams and competition will be part of the technical fest and have different small-scale events. We can enjoy them but the participants will be less all the time by students

I am a day scholar and I have some hostel friends the college hostel fee is somewhat high and will provide quality food and RO water supply and rooms are air-conditioned and has a limited number of persons per room and security service For girls, the hostel is within the college and

Vignan has very less interaction with seniors and they can be very much avoided they are said to be not more helpful but this is due to the location of separate first-year block and seniors are prohibited

In vignan examination are conducted strictly and according to JNTUK rules as per rules, we have to write 2 mid exams and 1 end semester exam every semester. We have to secure Internal external Theory 50% 35% Practical 75% 75% Marks in every subject and in all semesters credits will be added to our subject and all the credits should be secure to complete the course this is the exam procedure and it is easy to follow

I entered the vignan institution for engineering degree through a state level entrance exam. By qualifying it and competition of the counselling process we have to give our options in web counselling in the next stage they allot seats based on our merit and caste reservation and finally we have to report at college and secure the seat sometimes we may get into undesired college in this case we can wait for second and third phase of counseling if required This is the process of taking admission in college In college, there will be some instructions to complete the admission process we have to pay some fee at the time of admission

Vignan college faculty are mostly from IIT's and have good knowledge but less experience and skills. They are inspirational and mostly student friendly we are provided with faculties phone number and there will be special faculty list at every department and we can easily access them by using this. The timetable for every class has their faculty names and respective cabin and room numbers for easy access They are helpful in many cases and always try to improve the college
