Course Curriculum Overview
The college has chosen to expose us to a wider variety of subjects. Though they could have made it more practical based than theory. Studying the theory part is also necessary but hands on experience is necessary side by side as well.
Placement Experience
The placement cell is in charge of it. It varies every year depending on the openings, recession, job vacancies. And all the three sections, as in Film Studies, Design, and Animation have different number of companies coming for campussing.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure keeps increasing by 10% every year. So it is hard to say the complete cost of the course as it is different for every batch. It was around 5L for our seniors, whereas it's around 8-9L for us. Though they provide us with scholarships and concessions if you talk to the Vice Principal and let him know if you have any issues.
Campus Life
There are a lot of fests taking place throughout the year: cultural events, inter departmental sports, college sports, sports day, departmental fests, society fests and many more. There are lots of societies you can choose to be in. Also the main fest Xavotsav.
Admission
The selection is based on the board results. The college decides on a cut off marks and if you exceed that, you will be selected. Then it's the normal procedure like all the other places. Check the merit list, pay and take your seats.
Faculty
The teachers are approachable and they help us out whenever we ask for help. But there could be more faculty members, it'd be better and easier for both, the students and the professors. We could have a wider exposure to the industry.
