Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum followed by IEM is one of the most job oriented one I feel helping one to get prepared for the real world applications or for further academic pursuits, be it MCA or MBA. Before the 2 main semester exams of each year, 4 mid semester exams are also conducted(2 mid semester exams before each main semester exam).
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities do start coming up from the first year itself, several workshops are held so that one can have a hands-on experience of the real world applications. The letter of recommendation and the certificate that is provided on completion of the tasks provided in the internship by the company opens more job opportunities for one and even makes your CV interesting.
Placement Experience
From the 4th semester the students become eligible for the campus placements but the preparation and grooming does get started from the first day itself. Several companies like SAP Labs, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Federal Bank etc come up to offer on campus placements here. This institution also ensures 100% placement and the average package for this course is 15lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
While taking the admission, apart from the admission fees they take up the fees of the first semester too(60000). Yearly the amount sums up to 120000; 60000 in January and the other half in July. This college also ensures 100% placement facility i.e. an on campus placement too.
Campus Life
The classroom do have smartboards as well as a blackboard, the other technological amenities provided are also pretty good. They have a library where one can almost find every required book. Quite a number of clubs and social groups are also present like music,dance, photography etc.
Admission
The application form, fee details and application dates are available in the IEM website. The eligibility of the course is that candidates must have scored atleast 60% in both their secondary and higher secondary exams and also they need to qualify in the IEMJEE exam that is conducted by the institution individually.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is quite rational, I guess 1 professor for teaching a class of disciplined students is well to do. The method of teaching and mentorship varies from person to person but most of them do have a good approach towards teaching and understanding. Everyone has easy accessibility to the Professors, also they do attend your doubts or any queries after the college hours(4-5pm).
