Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Apart from studies, students are also given the opportunity for their personal development. Course related field curriculum activities are conducted. Class presentations are conducted and students prepare for it and then present their topics in the class. This develops their skills.. Exams are conducted in every semester, session wise class test are conducted. 2 exams are conducted in a year. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. Every subject carry 100 marks which divided in 3 parts (1) 70 marks for theoretical exams, (2) 20 marks for sessional test (class test), (3) 10 marks for students attendence in class, their behaviour in class, their activeness level, their participation, their activeness, which encourage the students to take active part in the class.

Internships Opportunities

1

There are no intership opportunities available in our group for our course. Students do internship on their own, they themselves search or choose company for intership. But our college supports students and give them time to do internship.

Placement Experience

1.5

For our no campus placement is offered or very less offered. I want to become a professor. So, I decided after completing the graduation by doing M.Com and after that I will give NET/JRF competition exam and after passing the exam I want to do PhD.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees are not high. The tuition fee policy is good. The tuition fee amount gets reduced every year. The total cost of our education is ?50000-?60000 per year. The tuition fee amount is ?1900 in the first year + ?25000 paid seat amount which is fixed every yr the value of tution is reduce every year, ?7000 per year hostel fee, and in addition the amount spent on books and notebooks or stationery products. Around ?100000 scholarship opportunities are given to students for our course. But the placement opportunities for B.Com (Hons) students are less. I have not taken any campus employment.

Campus Life

4

In our campus every year fest are organise called "Disha", "Kashi Yatra", etc. , fashion show are organised, infact in this year I was participate in fashion show and won the 2nd prize and other students are also actively participated in this different type of cultural events. In Disha fest no. of different competition is held like dancing, singing (solo or in group), mehandi competition, art and craft , Rangoli competition, etc. In our campus wifi facility are available. In seminars hall projector are used for presentation. Time to time workshop are organised, give the cirtificate to participated students. Every year sports day is organised, students activily participate. To play national level matches opportunities are given to the students. In our college society and club are form, in this students are guided for their future like for jobs, how give interview, etc. This is positively impact on students life, for their bright future.

Hostel Facilities

4

In our campus hostel facility are available. The hostel fee is 7000 in a year. 2 or 3 students are live in one room. In our hostel wifi facility are provided. Meal quality is good and every day different foods are make, for Breakfast, lunch and dinners different food are make and weekly repeat this .

Admission

Those students are eligible who give Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to take admission in the college. Application form, application fee and application dates are provided to the students in online manner. Colleges provide reservation benefits to students but I didn't take any reservation benefits to get admission in college. Only on the basis of marks in CUET entrance exam I take the admission in college. Exams are conducted 2 times in a year semester wise, their difficulty level is moderate. I suggest that to improve the admission process that should disclose the college cut off which comes out 4-5 times. So that students can estimate whether they are eligible to take admission in college based on their marks or not they are able to take decision.

Faculty

4

The number of students in the class is 60-70 per teacher. The number of students is not too much so that teachers can keep a better track of each student. And teachers are guiding all students easily. Our college is a top college, their reputation is high. Best and experienced teachers approach students, talented students study in this college. Teachers personally interact with students, solve their doubts or queries. They approach each student. They appreciate students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Com course curriculum in my college is quite relevant and well structured. It covers core commerce subjects like accounting, business studies, and economics, which helped me choose this course. The syllabus mainly focuses on building strong theoretical fundamentals, which is useful for students planning higher studies such as M.Com, MBA, or professional courses like CA. The curriculum prepares students reasonably well for academic purposes, but there is still scope for improvement in terms of real-world exposure. More practical learning, case studies, presentations, and industry interaction would make the course more skill-oriented and career-focused. The college follows the semester system with internal and external examinations conducted regularly. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. Students who attend classes regularly, complete assignments, and study consistently can pass and score good marks.
