- The main thing I like in my college is the placements oppurtunities.
- The faculty here are really trained and experienced and they are well versed in the subjects they handle.
- They encourage sports activities here in REC. Here the campus is also good greenish enough which motivates students to study well.
Dislikes
- The campus is very far away usually it takes more than an hour to travel to college.
- The food they provide in hostel mess and in canteen are not that much good and here only vegetarian foods are sold.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have basically intrest in electronics side so i decided to take up electrical and electronics engineering. The curriculum prepares me really good for the real world applications as it includes many practical sessions. The curriculum they provide in REC is very good the teaching methods is also very good. They conduct 2 internal exam and 1 end semester exam the difficulty level is so moderate.
Placement Experience
The placement of the college is really good and mainly in the field of IT placements. The top companies like CTS,TCS,WIPRO are came here for placements. The hightest package offered in my college Rs.1000000 per anum. The percentage of students gets placed in my college is closely 90%. My plans after getting degree is to get palced in the electronics company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for my batch is Rs.205000 this includes tution fees and bus fees and there wont be any fees hike. The scholarship they provide in REC is first graduate schorship which is about Rs.15000. We also need to pay the semester exam fees for each semester which is about Rs.4000. The campus training will be provided in REC for students of 3rd year and final year
Campus Life
Once in a year they conduct culturals for 3 days and also they conduct symposium for each departments and many hackathon are also conducted here. The library here is very large and also very eassily accessible. Most of the classroom here are smart classrooms. The sports they provide here is very good they also conduct annual sports meet every years. There are many clubs in REC which promotes many skills for real world applications.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms they provide are not that good but ok. The food they provide in the hostel mess is not that good they provide only vegetarian food is provided here. The hostel is very affordable as the fee is only Rs.30000.
Admission
The eligilibility of the course is very simple just to study physics chemistry and maths in grade 12. The application form for the college is available in the college campus. They conduct 2 internals and one main end semester exam. The admission process here is very smooth and easy.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in REC is very good that is 1:10 the faculty here are very well trained in their respective domains. The faculty is very friendly towards every students and they maintain a good rapo with the students in their classes they also do a very good mentorship to every students. The interaction between the faculty and students are very often between college hours and for everybody it is compulsory to interact between the faculty.
