Absolutely a great college which finds ourselves and make our dreams come true.

I decided to do my engineering in the mechanical branch that too only in government university and according to my option preferences I got admission in JNTUK UCE VIZIANAGARAM. I have no idea about the college and I didn't enquire anyone until I joined the college, just saw the college website.

The course curriculum is excellent which concentrates on basics in every stream of mechanical engineering and it's very useful for competitive exams like IES. There are also some elective subjects which are more advanced and selected by the faculty itself.

There is no such internship facility in our college but they allow us to participate in an internship in other mechanical industries which is useful to the students.

To be frank placements for mechanical engineering students is low when compared to other branches but few companies like SERVO MOTORS and CYIENT conducted interviews and selected few students. Software companies like TCS invited mechanical students for interview and shortlisted 2 members.

At first, Freshers party will be conducted by the college and the senior students as well which creates a bond between seniors and juniors. And then based on the speciality of the day events are conducted like Engineers day, Science day, Independence Day, Republic Day, and also women's day is celebrated in our college. Sports day will be celebrated by conducting some competitions also.

Fee structure is very feasible as it is a government university when compare to other private colleges. Annual fee is Rs.10,000/- and for hostel initial deposit of Rs.6000/- is paid in which Rs.3000/- will be credited back to your accounts. For semester(6 months)hostel rent paid for room,current and water is Rs.3000/- and for food nearly 1700 approximately per month.

Scholarship is given to many students based on the some eligibility criteria. Tution fee reimbursement of Rs.10,000/- and monthly stipend for hostel students are also provided.

Campus is very peaceful as it is located far from the town about 5km from VIZIANAGARAM Railway station. Equal opportunities are provided to the students irrespective of gender bias. NCC Campaign is present which allows students to participate and excellent sports facility and coaches encourages & allow you to participate in various university level competitions. Every year FEST (MECHANO) is conducted by the students which is a successful event for years.

In 2016 our college started student management hostels which nenu prepared by the student superintendent and look after the quality which is a good sign and it tastes good. Menu will be like chicken once in a week(Sunday), egg twice in a week and specilas during festivals and special events.

Seniors play the major role at the starting stage of college as it is new environment to the students, it will be very helpful to interact with them. As it is a RAGGING FREE CAMPUS, no need to worry at all. If such cases are still taking place strict actions are taken upon them.

There are total 8 semesters in which 2 semesters per year. In each semester,5 to 6 subjects and 2 to 3 labs are present. Each subject has 3 credits and lab has 2 credits. Each semester has 2 mid exams and final semester exam which is of 30 and 70 marks respectively.In order to get final degree total 180 credits need to be secured.

Admission to this college is through APEamcet which is conducted mostly in May. After declaring the results, the counseling process starts as per schedule where certificates are checked and options are filled as per choice through online mode. Results of counseling are declared in which college seat is allotted. Within no time we need to report at allotted college and secure the seat. In this way, I got the admission in college.

There are five Assistant professors and seven contract lecturers in the mechanical department and are highly qualified and experienced. They are always supportive of students and very helpful but very strict in discipline and academics which is a good deal.
