Course Curriculum Overview
If I talk about the chemical engineering curriculum. It is very comprehensive and relatable to the real world if you are interested in the academics. In fact the new curriculum of chemical engineering completes all the aspects.
Internships Opportunities
Internship guidance is provided but internship opportunities in the college are not good. You have to search for the internship either they are industrial or research based . For industrial internship alumni connection helps students
Placement Experience
College placement are good. Placement season starts in the starting of the fourth year . I am from chemical Engineering and in my branch the placement are good if you have a good cgpa (>7.5) then you will definitely get a good placement offer . In chemical engineering the average placement is 8.9 lack rupees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee for the Btech is 62500 per semester. Hostel fee per year is approximate 20000. And mess fee per semester is 19500. Other fee per year is 10000 For B. Tech there is fee remission for the gen EWS and obc students whose income is less than 5 lack rupees. Full remission of fee for students whose income is less than 1 lack rupees. Fee remission policy for b tech is good but for MSC students there is no such facilities. MSC students apply for the scholarship in state or central government.
Campus Life
There is one technical fest MINDBEND And one cultural fest Sparsh. Fests are good you will enjoy the fests but there should be some improvements such as the funding should increase for the fests. One thing that I liked the most is the Library. Library is wonderful I have never seen the Library like this. It fulfills all the aspects of the library. It is like a mall. Sports facilities are not that much good
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are average . The first year hostel is not that much good . But the second and third year hostels have good facilities second year new hostel named atal bihari vajpayee hostel is the new one have very good facilities . Hostel charges are not very high.
Admission
Admission is based on the Jee main rank. Admission in the college is based on the jossa counseling. There is 50 % reservation for the Gujarat state students and 50% reservation for the other state students.
Faculty
Faculties of the college are very well qualified and educated. All the faculties bears very good credentials. Almost every faculty have degrees from IIT or NIT. Faculties are very interactive and their teaching approach is very good.
