Course Curriculum Overview
As I told the curriculum is CBME based which focuses on clinical knowledge more than theoretical knowledge which helps us understand better. These mostly involve the demonstration parts which are very useful in the MBBS as we are to deal with the living in the future so we should know what we have to do as there's a huge difference between the theory and at clinics . Time that we get for self study is less which results as a burden during internals and University exams . Exams take place from time to time they include part completion test (PCT), ward leaving test (WLT ) for clinical postings, internals such as sessionals every 3 months and then pre University and University at last. Exams are also mostly based on clinical scenario nowadays instead of detailed long questions.
Internships Opportunities
Internship Is of 1yr after clearing final year University exams . Stipend is 14k as of now . Interns have to serve in different departments for a specific period of time. Interns are trained during this whole period.
Fees and Financial Aid
Overall fees is 114000/yr which includes hostel fees of 12000/ yr along with library fees. It is the fees for the students who have not taken any scholarship. There are many scholarships available like medhavi and post-matric which makes the overall fees for scholarship students to 14000/yr only.
Campus Life
Overall campus is good although some areas needs improvement like washrooms of college campus needs more frequent cleaning. Other then that it is nice and big also , big enough to walk, play , there's gym and playgrounds for students and faculties along with badminton court. Technologies in the classroom are all smart classes. Students get indulge in activities according to there needs and hobbies. We have a huge library with almost all books, along with good ambience for studying.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are also good along with good infrastructure. Regular cleaning and maintenance is done for the buildings and rooms Hostel rooms have been provided with a chair, almirah, study table and a bed . Washrooms are common for all for each floor There is a mess for meal which provides breakfast, lunch dinner, taste is alright but there are other options available in the campus such as canteen. Hostel room is very affordable it only cost 12000/yr + mess extra (2500/month) Still there are pg's and rooms available in the local areas near college itself.
Admission
Admission is based on NEET exm , the rank you get the marks you get then cutoff Is. Decided In 2020 I got 575 marks with 33000 AIR and 800 MP state rank and I was able to secure a govt seat from UR category. Nowadays the cut off is increasing alot. Cut off is different for different categories , all the process and schedule for counseling is available on dme MP for MP counselling accordingly students have to manage. Choice filling is available so students can fill there priorities but it does not always depends choice filling the merit , score , category plays an cumulative role.
Faculty
All the faculties are MBBS graduate atleast and many of them are MD, MS , DM, Mch. They are all doctors who have great knowledge for both theory as well as clinics. They teach according to CBME curriculum. Under this curriculum SDL(self directed learning)and SGT's (small group tutorial) are included which helps in better interaction with teachers such as one teacher on 30 or 50 or more or less students. There are also seminars and quiz organised time to time.
