Overall my college days experience

I completed my graduation in English Literature and this course taught me to present my point of view, create my imagination about everything around me and write it down, beautify those thoughts and be vocal about those. Now come to the syllabus structure, The University of Calcutta syllabus is well-designed. I am completely satisfy with the syllabus pattern and even I am doing my Master's degree from University of Calcutta.

There were no such internships during my college days but as per NEP now every students must do internship in their 3rd year of degree so I believe college will provide some good and impactful internship programmes for students.

1. During the admission along with the 1st semester fee you have to pay the admission fee. From 2nd semester you only have to pay the college fee which will be under 800-2k(depending upon the courses, this amount will not be applied in semester 1) and have to pay an enrollment fee which is taken by the authorized university, which is also under 500rs per semester including 1st semester. 2. There is a major state government scholarship named SVMCM for every caste people. For humanities & commerce students it is 12k per year, for science students 18k.

1. There are some annual festival that happens along with some departmental festivals. 2. Annual sports also occur. 3. Departmental seminars, general seminars, faculty exchange seminars, student seminars wall magazines made by students etc. 4. Our college campus is quite small it has 3 buildings in total, main building, commerce building and library and seminar building.

Admission nowadays happens through a common admission portal known as https://wbcap.in. The entire process of form fill-up, merit list checking, admission process everything is through this website, you won't get confused regarding anything.

I started my graduation in 2020 and finished last year in 2023. Throughout these 3 years, my relationship with my professors has been joyful, calming, and understanding and I learnt many lessons from them. Even after passing out, I am in touch with all of my professors, they are still guiding me in my path and I am and I will always be grateful for this to them. In my department, there are six professors, all highly qualified some are doing their PhD, and some completed their PhD with 5+ years of teaching experience. All of my professors made each student comfortable in their educational side as well as mentored us regarding our mental and environmental way as well.
