Likes

The teacher are good, experienced, and very interactive to students
Placements on all the trades are very good, especially in electrical department
Computer lab is very good, clean and sophisticated

Dislikes

The bathrooms are not so good as its govt clg
In This clg sports are very poor.. I mean they don't conduct any sports, only if students forced the principal
Food of canteen is average.. Means the quality is not good

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually i am doing diploma from this clg from 10 so if i get any job after this diploma course then i will be doing a job at my very youngest age, and after that if i persue to do higher studies like btech in lateral entry then it will be beat as i have sone btech there will be many common subjects, topics, practicals etc, and there is very higher chance to get a very good job in a very big company, as i am experienced employee in a different company and done diplom..

In our clg there is a very good opportunity to internship many company like hunda, conduct internship Internship at webflex consultancy private limited on printed circuit board ( pcb) designing at jnan chandra gosh polytechnic f fu

Fees and Financial Aid

There is very few polytechnic tuition teachers around us and could be very far from us... So i would suggest to take online classes and learn from YouTube. there are many diploma teachers who teaches in online, and there fees is also very low 1000-1500 rs for 6months My complete cost in 6month is around 40 thousand including room rent for 6months online tuition fees, food and semester fees

Campus Life

My overall experience with campus life is not so good because this clg doesn't conduct any fest, all the students have to force teacher to conduct any program and they don't take any action or responsibility to conduct the program, i am not satisfied with this

Admission

The eligibility of the course is 10th pass and 12th pass. We have to find application form from google internet from West Bengal polytechnic portal, application fees is aprox 500 , the entrance exam is not so hard.

All the faculty members are very good and very effective, the professor's are very experiencesd, and interactive to the students, they always provide us information about job & if we have any kind of problems they try there beat to solve it

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

My first preference was jcgp, as it was the college my relatives' sob is passed from. I heard the good things as it was the best diploma college for civil Engineering in west bengal. After my admission I didn't think so but it occurred to me after a while. The admission process was pretty simple. We had to appear for joint entrance exam and based on the marks we had to choose the college. But in dire situation of Covid, we got the chance to apply for the college just by showing our higher secondary result. As far as I know any student getting over 55% in higher secondary examination got accepted in diploma in civil engineering. Best College In The World

The admission in diploma colleges are done through a state based elegibilty test called JEXPO which is conducted by the government of West Bengal.Only after that a student can get admission in Diploma Colleges. After JEXPO I got the opportunity to get admission Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic College & Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy Polytechnic College. My reason to choose J.C.Ghosh College was that it is revered as the topmost polytechnic college in the state and as the college was closer to my home making it easier for me to travel to the college.
