Likes
- I like the environment and the campus of the college soo much. Our college has a big campus and also a big playground to play. Beside of classes we can play at this ground. You can have hostel facility boys and girls both with low cost
- Our department of commerce classes are pretty much constant. All the classes are held at a proper time and we can attend the class everyday. The professers are so much responsible person. Also our college has a library, so we can pick books.
- Everyone of our college can issue their library cards. It is so much beneficial for the students whom are facing financial problems. They can pick free books from here, and lots of stocks are there. Also our college is famous for annual fest in bwn.
Dislikes
- Some times our college facing development problems. Sometimes there are lack off fans and lights in class rooms. But it is not too much problems. If our hall room has a capacity of 8 fans or lights you can see 1 or 2 is not working.
- If you are staying at hostel, you can face several problems in hostel. Sometimes college didi not provide proper goods for hostel facilities. The boarders of the hostel need to complaint for a long to have those things
- Some time you can be irritated by the union of the college. It is a crucial problem of our college. But hostel boards are facing more problems instead of students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I specially like commerce, and this college is well known for commerce students. So I took admission in this college. And we get very good mentorship form our professors. Some times we got timing problems from Burdwan University but our teachers made us prepared for the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can expect INR 2,500 to 4,000 admission fees in every semester. Sometimes it depends on which department you are admitted. The flexibility of various scholarship process like Swami vivekananda marit cum scholership, Owaisis and many other are good enough. But there are lack of campusing at our college. But you can expect campusing some times.
Campus Life
Our college arrange a annual function called "Sankalp". Our college's annual fest is well known in burdwan town. Every year you can expect a femous artist from our India. Last year Mohammed Irfan, a bollywood playback singer was our artist from Mumbai. Our annual faction is held for 3 days. It's just awesome. You can expect a good library at our college and a good library study room with AC and a calm environment. Students runs verious groups to discuss classes and other things about college.
Admission
There are no entrance exam for Burdwan Raj College students. If you're getting 70% + number in HS then you can expect your admission easily in this college. You just have to check the rank after some days of applying. Then if you get chance you will be given instructions on college website notice. How will be the process and the documents you have to provide, all details will be told. If you scored 60-70 percentage in HS you can expect your chance in 2nd and onward merit list
Faculty
Burdwan raj college has a huge numbers of students facilities. And every year we can expect a large numbers of students at our college. May some of department facing students-teachers interaction some times, but most of the departments are pretty good with their teacher-student bondings
