Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is updated and changes within the industrial trends. The examination will be a written exam which is a scenario based questions and the materials will be available in the college site and it is very useful.Moreover,if we attend the classes regularly it is more than enough to attend the exam.
Internships Opportunities
TVS Brakes India as a production trainee for six months with a stipend of 12000 p.m. I worked in brakes which helps to gain knowledge in different types of brakes used in automotive industry,how they are manufacturing.
Placement Experience
The placements are well good and most of the top most IT companies will recruit our college students.The college have a official tie up TCS and many more IT companies with good package starting from 3LPA to 20LPA. 90% of the students will get an job opportuinity. I have done BE in Mechanical Engineering and got an intern offer in a core company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is now increased to 2.25L per year which includes 90000 hostel fees. During my college years the fees was 196000L per year and the hoatel fees was 83000-87000 per year. The college provides numerous placement opportunities,internships. Scholarships include Farmer scholarships(8k-10k),Friends of Friends scholarship.
Campus Life
Pongal Vizha is one of the biggest festival in our college.You will enjoy it like anything. Club functions will also be there by conducting numerous competitions. Every year there will be a sports day. There is a separate selection for different sports both indoor and outdoor.The college will give equal importance to sports as well as to academics. The classes will be a video generative one,after that the faculties will explain each and every concepts thoroughly and in understandable manner.
Hostel Facilities
There are three types of rooms available in college. 1) 4 sharing persons in a room with separate cupboards,and a study area. 2)2 sharing room,here the fee will vary we need to pay extra 7000 for this one and the same facility will be provided. 3)AC rooms where we need to pay 15000 both single and double cot are available.
Admission
There is no any entrance exams. The TNEA counselling is enough to get into the college.Those who wants to choose IT and computing departments need to have a cut off above 170. For core branches 140+ cut off is enough.
Faculty
Faculty members are well educated and equiped with ample amount of knowledge in them and give us full freedom to explore ourselves and allows us to attend so many events,guides us ,encourage us,and help us in difficult situations.
