Likes
- The city Baroda , the green surrounding and soothing environment of college , faculties nice behaviour. Most importantly I was preparing for competitive exams and MSU bcom is not having any issues with
- Attendance, so it got me my personal time for better preparations and studies, if I lacked I would go to college to attend lectures faculty is always available for given time , I would easily get notes from college printout office.
- Semester examination are conducted in a very soothing way .
Dislikes
- I personally disliked the delays college creates in announcing the results after examinations . Thier is no co curricular activities, no extra learnings only sticks to bookish knowledge, we won't get to explore much about business in practical.
- No internship opportunities are given . Even after graduation you can't get a placement by college because they just provide a few local companies and get the formality done , no guidance.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would feel a bit silly to choose bcom as it has no scope futher until you opt for masters , because after you complete your graduation from bcom thier are very less job opportunities until and unless you do your own business startup or join a less salaried job . After bcom you can go with various options like government jobs , bank sector,m.com , MBA and many other .
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is like : on yearly basis like 3 years 6 semester/ 2 each ., so before starting a new year fees has to be paid accordingly your optional subject choosen , course is very affordable yearly fees is 14k + some taxes might be . then talking about schlorship only students of gujrat is provided with it .
Campus Life
Thier is no annual fest type on some days are celebrated like cultural day , executive day , green day etc etc , for books journals and notes thier is office which is pay and take . Also library is provided with a very good silent and peace area . Their is traditional method of teaching no smart classes . Talking about sports.. we are given with physical department ground, thier we have all type of sports we can register with are college id and learn and play . Yes social group ls are like college political groups abvp and agsg groups
Admission
Thier is no entrance exam, admission is given on the basis of 12th percentage, their in bcom students are divided into 4 categories according to their scores in 12th grade and like wise are given admission for example above 80% are in main building and less in unit then less in other like that . You can find application form on Google from the MSU official website and fill the form to apply . The frequency of examination is very comfortable 2exam in 1 sem , one is MCQ based and second is detailed . Likewise exams are conducted. Improvement area are .. not everyone should get easily admission like their should be ab entrance because college avails more than 5000 seats for bcom and hence it's difficult to maintain activities classes and placements for such large population.
Faculty
Faculty of bcom is very fine all the mentors and teachers are really helpful mostly in the main building of bcom we would get the best proffesors to learn from , they are always available for our help , even though very less student attend college but proffesors are always their to teach us .
