Likes
- Our college is very discipline. And focuses on the students academics more than anything. The faculty members and the HOD of our BBA Department is also very nice.
- They always listens to us and asks us that of we are facing any problem or not. There are uniforms alloted for our college students I think that's nice because it helps to maintain the decency of students wearing proper uniforms, which help them.
- There is anti ragging department and it is very strong there is no sign of any ragging in our college and the students didn't have the courage to do so because of severe punishment
Dislikes
- Our college have huge rooms but they have only one air conditioner which makes us a little difficult.
Course Curriculum Overview
They gave us enough time between the semesters to prepare ourselves. They gave us the essence of the corporate world and told us what we gonna face in the near future. I have always wanted to become an HR and my course prepares me best for that. They constantly take placement classes for us to know what are we gonna face in the interviews and our institute also provides CAT classes and to prepare the students for further higher studies.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offered placement under your specific specialization Under marketing, there are- Lacozy, Edukon, Citi Mart, Shoppers Stop, etc. Under finance, there are- Motilal Oswal, Bajaj Capital, etc. Under HR there are- Edukon, Den Publication, and others.
Placement Experience
IEM ranks as one of the best colleges in India for giving placement. So the placement given by our college is best. The students who want to sit for placement or those who are not interested in sitting for placement all will be given internships after 4th semester. There are many companies like TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, and many more companies that offer jobs to us. Almost 75% of the students get the placement. I am planning to take placement and then after that do my higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the course is a bit expensive in my college but I think that they are justified. They are providing us with so many more things like CAT preparations and preparing us for banking and UPSC exams. They also have many other things football competitions, cricket competitions, basketball matches, and many other social and literary activities.
Campus Life
There are many festivals like SmartMaker which helds in September. IemPact which is like a feast for us college students There is Freshers program. There is Saraswati Puja There is Cricket, football and basketball tournaments. All types of books are easily available on library even if it is not there at the moment they will make sure you get it within some time All the classrooms are accessed with projector and computers for us to understand the subject more precisely. Many student runs many social clubs including film clubs, club for magazine readers.
Admission
We have to give CET exams before taking admission in IEM and the rank should be under 800 and I think it is justified because the standard of education on our college ia very high. The all the information and the forms are easily available in the office of our college. Our college also provides loan facilities if someone wants to study by taking loans that facility is also available
Faculty
Each and every faculty member os excellent and takes proper care of us and makes us understand each and every thing. They constantly ask us if we have understood the subject or not. They gave us real-life examples for every situation to make us understand the topic in a better way.
Other Applied Colleges
The Heritage Academy - [THA] | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]
IEM was the better option for placement. And it was my first choice.
