Likes

the things I like about this college is the campus is very neat and clean
in this college there is no such things called ragging
the campus very sophisticated and the faculty members helps us

Dislikes

there's no such thing like playing ground or anything
the uniform sucks and also there's restrictions that we cannot go out once we entered the college
this college feels like school more than college

the course which I am pursuing is bca(bachelor's of computer application) and the course is very effective for coperate life and it's very helpful too and the teachers teaches us very well i have no complaints about understanding the course and the faculty members will also talk with you on whatsapp

the fees structure for my course which is bachelor of computer and application is 3,60,000 for 3years and 6 semester per semester is 60000 and this fees is fixed there's no hikes and the amount is scholarship and their fees is what I am unaware of the college will take care of it

Campus Life

my overall experience within 3years of my college life is not so good and not so bad i mean I found good people and i made so much memories with them the college campus and there faculties are very strict still we had found a way to enjoy ourselves there are events and fests where you can enjoy a lott and also there are sports activities and events where you can participate

Admission

the admission process was quite tough and i had to give an exam known as CET for the entrance we had to score an certain amount of marks to get admission and we have to submit the first semester fees as advanced and the people who are taking care of the admission process are not very helpful or friendly

Faculty

i interact with my class teachers and faculty members very less because they are nice and they try to solve all our problems within the class hours and they also helps us with study materials and everything

Placement Experience:

1 internship company came for bca course forgot the name which was unpaid. 3-4 companies came for placement but only 1 out 26 students got placed. Companies like TCS, wipro, cognizant didn't came. Although they will give email for those companies.

Budget Best College For Students in Sonarpur

Placement Experience:

Mostly what i know, from 7th or 8th semester the students are eligible for the campus placements. Wipro, TCS, etc are the companies who come to recruit students from this college. The highest package is like 15 LPA, the average package is around 6-8 LPA. 50-60% of students get placement. After the degree, if i get the job i would like to purse MCA, while doing my job.

Well other than that I definitely put Techno Main , Heritage Institute of Technology, Jalpaiguri Government, kalyani Government and Haldia Institute of Technology too . But the rank didn't allow me to get my desired branch that is CSE in kalyani and jalpaiguri, so I had to close from the private ones and if you have to pick the best one in Kolkata which was also not far waya from my hometown , definitely you choose IEM , as it definately has a good placement track record and good curriculum. Well you can get into this college through WBJEE(which they didn't took this year ) , IEMJEE and direct admission too . But direct admission requires some extra donation amounts too . So I take admission through WBJEE in IEM KOLKATA in B.tech in electrical engineering. So now I talked about eligibility criteria:- You should pass your +2 from any board with a maximum of 60% Admission in this college is 3 types WBJEE, JEE MAIN, IEMJEE all three forms you will get notified by college dunia if you have an account in it. So the IEM KOLKATA is one of the best private colleges in Kolkata and you can say in India also so the cuttoff goes very high you have to get minimum rank for this college. This college admission procedure takes 2 days 1st admission to the college it will take 6 hours. 2nd makaut registration will take next 4 to 5 hours.
