IARE BEST IN TIER-3 COLLEGES

Our college is autonomous and semi affiliated to JNTU- HYD. So mostly the syllabus is prepared by our college board and it is approved by JNTU. The curriculum is also approved by NBA. It is said that the curriculum is based on the top colleges like IIT's that our college takes reference from them and deploy in our curriculum. Recently our college introduced Boot camp based learning where the students are taken apart from the academics for 2 weeks and they are trained on the most popular skills in their industry. There are regular workshops and bootcamps conducted by the colleges and its clubs. We also have a mandatory of performing a field project in the first year where we need to visit a location and deeply study the area and submit a project report on it. Similarly in the 2nd and 3rd years we need to do an internship for almost 15 days to 1 month on our interest. In the fourth year we need to work on a project which is again verified by writing a project report on it.

The internship which are offered by our college are mostly from the govt based corporations like the NSIC, CITD etc.. but as we go to the higher scale the companies may offer internships but we need to get them contacted departmentally. If anyone is interested in building a startup our college has TIIC where they can build their project in the guidance of experience and industry experts of our college.

As we come to the placements the college has a placement and training center where the students are trained from the 3rd semester of their college. They are skilled on the industry relevant technology. Mostly the students from PAT are only allowed to appear for the interview for companies. As of this year our college has the highest package of 21 LPA for the company JUSPAY. Average package from our college is around 5.5LPA. Where the most companies visit are Amazon, Accenture, TCS, JUSPAY, Cognizant, Amadeus etc.. The percentage of students placed are 80% of all the eligible students in this year. This may increase as the placements are still going on. Most students will wish to go for higher studies and masters or abroad. Som of them are into entrepreneurship like building startups form their Btech.

Coming to fees structure from the academic year 2022-23 our fees is 1,01,000/- INR annually. Additionally we need to pay the library fees annually. Coming to scholarship every student who is joined through the TGEAPCET they will get a decrement of 35,000/- INR if annual income is less than 1,50,000/- INR. From our college side they also provide scholarship to the students who score a sgpa of >9.0 where they will get their college fees completely free. For girls they provide seperate scholarship only for the merit students. If you can't afford the college fees they will give you an additional scholarship based on your performance in the academics.

Coming to fests our college conducts a 3 days event where we have traditional day, Annual day and DJ night. These series of events are mostly conducted in the month of March/ April. From one month prior to this event, there is Sports week which is conducted for 2 weeks, where the department will compete each other for various indoor and outdoor games. Our library has a wide range of books where we can access them freely by registering them on our name for a month or two. We need to return them after the period. As coming to the clubs, we have around 10 clubs each with a different aspects and aims to enrich students in different cocuriicular activities such as dance, singing, arts, entrepreneurship, eSports etc.. all of the clubs have a head called Student Council who will look after the clubs. It is mandate the each club must conduct an event every month.

The college hostel is located 4kms away from the college where it is combined hostel for 3 colleges. However they will provide the bus accomodation daily. The facilities are vast rooms, 5 members per room, wifi, access to gym, sports etc.. The college fees is 1,15,000/- INR. The menu of the mess is regular south indian meals and breakfast. They will provide both veg and non veg options. The registration process for hostel starts before the beginning of every academic year. If you want to rent a pg or room you can get them near the gandimaisamma X roads or in the dundigal village. The rent in pg is around 5500 monthly for an individual.

Talking about the eligibility the student must have been passed in his intermediate or equivalent course and also they must write the state common entrance test TGEAPCET for admission. If you want to get admitted in the NRI quota, you have to contact college and deal with them separately. The application fees is all included in the EAPCET registration. For Lateral entry students there is admission through TGECET. the process is again same. The scholarship is provided only if you join through the entrance exam. The exam is mostly conducted in between april-june every year. The exam syllabus is completely based on the intermediate/diploma syllabus. The difficulty level is medium for the exam, but the competition is tough.

The faculty and student ratio varies from department to department. As in our EEE department the faculty are good enough with mostly 10 years of experience in their field. They will help us to learn not only the subjects but also about the research paper publications, developing projects based on our ideology and skills. In my first year the faculty were teaching mostly the basics of the subject. As we come into second year, our core subjects were introduced where most of them are taught by PhD doctorate faculties. It is ICT based learning so the faculty will present the PPT on the monitor and they clearly explain the topic. They will ask the question in the between to ensure every student is active in the class. However every faculty has different approach for their unique way of teaching. So I like the way our faculty follow here.
