U can admit after passing in NEET exam. All India Rank should be around 12k for General candidates. Reservation benefits are available for SC, ST, EWS, OBC, PWD. Candidates. NEET exam generally organised in pen paper mode once a year in May.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS course currently need many improvements. Some topics are irrelevant this days. Some portion are very vast and need more time for understanding and clear concepts. Hematology practical is absolutely irrelevant and cannot be done correctly
Internships Opportunities
Government stipend are provided during internship in the hospital associated with the college itself. Compulsory internship is at the end of the course after 4 and half years of study. Internship duration is of one year
Fees and Financial Aid
West Bengal govt SVMC Scholarship is available. Also some minority and scholarship for SC ST OBC candidates are also available. Internship with stipend is also available. Admission fees are around 9000 yearly
Campus Life
Annual cultural festival is KAIZMA and also academic festival is organised during mid September. There's also different programmes are organised throughout the year. In annual fest there's different events and exciting prizes are given.
Faculty
No of faculty in each department including demonstrators are 6-7 approximately. They are kind hearted and qualified. student friendly. Sincere with syllabus completion. Practical classes are done regularly.
