Course Curriculum Overview
I believe the course I have taken - Sociology covers all the aspects of history, development, conservation, society, etc. the most influential part that influenced me is how it is interrelated with other disciplines giving knowledge about other subjects as well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our per semester fee is 29,000, at the time of admission we had to pay like 31,000, extra 2000 as security deposit which is refundable. There is scholarship offered by the department as in relation with the board examination results, it depends on your percentage.
Campus Life
There are two main events - AURA were all the departments participate and compete humanities, medical, physiology, nursing, etc. games, cultural events, educational events are held, other is EUPHORIA organized by humanities dept. Where the students from humanities itself participate as of now. The college provides us with library - includes various books for each department. Smart classes are also available for persentation purposes and all.
Admission
The admission process was smooth, and not a hassle at all, I got to meet my faculty members before the admission and they made me very clear about the aspects of the course and the job opportunities after its completion, the application form and the fee structure is also available on the official website of the department and assist for the faculty members are also available.
Faculty
We have different classes, such as in combined class all the students are taught in one class, the interaction is okay types, but most the concept is clear, the faculty taking combined classes are knowledgeble but I do not have much interaction because of the strength of the class (high - 64). For our major and minor subjects, Major consists of 4 students and minor with 11 students. Both of the faculty members are very much knowledgeable about their field of teaching, they are very interactive and we also do not have problem interacting with them, they are anytime available for any questions and queries, they are very much helpful and supportive towards each of us.
