Course Curriculum Overview

4

Because I m pursuing MSC mathematics,so Ist thing I would like to address is the Course Curriculum of msc mathematics is same as that of IITD mathematics and computing. In this course we study core mathematics plus programming languages, machine learning and DSA as well. Which is really good for the students who are interested in coding but some how didn't get CSE. Definitely it is not a btech course you have to compromise degree over the coding intrest.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Because I am a second year student, just completed my ist year so I don't have internship experience but definitely SVNIT provide intership opportunity to their students. The stipend is also good. Students also get opportunity to perform research internship under very reputed and experience faculty.

Placement Experience

4

The overall highest and average package offered during SVNIT Surat placements in 2024 stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 10.24 LPA, respectively. The NIT Surat CSE average package offered in 2024 stood at INR 15.86 LPA. The SVNIT recorded 65.47% placements for BTech and 59.34% placements for MTech batch 2024 Definitely SVNIT is a Tier 1 college. SVNIT computer departments have a very strong track record of placement, and many top businesses, like Airtel, Microsoft, Accenture, etc., visit for interviews. 2022 MSC mathematics highest package was 20 lakh and average is approximately 9lakh .

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee for MSC is approximately 74k (yr) but for other btech course it is nearly 120k (yr) Note: it is only tution fee if you apply for the hostel amenities you have to pay further. So msc is Affordable. 10k is the academic fee which is included in the above. Apart from these there are scholarship, and fee remission as well. Note:- Fee remission is only for btech students who have family income less than 5 lakh. Fee remission - *If income is less than 5 lakh 2/3 fee remission Means you have to pay only 1/3 of the tution fee. *SC/ST full fee wavier *Family income less than 1 lakh full fee wavier For integrated Msc course there is a scholarship names as INSPIRE in this you will get total amount of 60000(yr) or 5000 each month.

Campus Life

4.5

My experience till now is good.As in 2023 I'm a second year student. Talking about the fests So we have our annual fest named as SPARSH which is a 4days fest. Including singing night, dancing night, EDM night and end with the celebrity night. Mostly it is organised in the month of January or February College organises a fresher names as KASHISH which is a two days event including western and traditional dress code You might be aware gujarat if famous for garba. So Navratri is celebrated as THANGANAT Talking about technical fest Yes we had a tech fest named as MINDBEND Which includes several small events like workshop, robo wars, farm track and guest lecturers. This time Aman Dattarwal and Shraddha khapra was the guest lecturers There are many clubs and society SPICMACAY The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth CHRD(extracurricular) Raag-singing Malang-dance Akrati-art Kirdaar-drama GDSC(tech) Scosch(research)

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is good. Infact svnit is famous for its hostels Meal quality is normal (edible) U can eat. Definitely home-made food >>>>> mess meal Mess fee for a semester is 19k Some times the mess food is good sometimes not

Admission

The admission process is quite simple. You can easily get this course through JOSAA councelling and CSAB councelling If you don't get a seat in 6 th round ofJOSAA then go for CSAB. If your score is more than 93%ile (gen/obc) then you can easily enrolled in this course . SC/ST can easily get the course with more than 75% Ile. After getting a seat in JOSAA or CSAB you have to pay seat acceptance fee and further admission fee which is 35k and around 40k respectively. After that you have to go through a online verification of the document. And then physical verification at that reputed college As per the 2023 guidelines the candidate should have a minimum of 75% in 12 boards.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of sardar Vallabhbhai National institute of technology is really good and helping in nature. If I talk about their qualifications soo some of the faculties graduated from IITs. Most of the faculty have 20+ years of experience.

This college includes internal exams such as unit test ,assignments, practical exams and end semesters exams which help students to stayed focused on studying. There are less difficulties faced by students who attend lectures on regular basis.
