The curriculum is not so easy and the exams are really frequent . But there are projects that help the students learn more about the subject and have a hands-on experience. The time period between the exams should be increased though.

Not much of internship were used to be given earlier but from this year onwards many internships are provided and its mass for every student to do a 2 months internship in their course the professors assist these internships and they are even given opportunities to go group in terms it's different college students like from our college many students went to Jadavpur University I renounce technical University of India to do their internships in computer application and chemistry.

All the third year students are applicable for the place campus placement almost around 10 companies visit every year on the first week of January it may be TCS cognizant or some private banks for their insurance and loan department. The highest salary ever given for 5.5 lakh and the average salary is around 3 lakhs per annum. The student must get around 55% in every semester that he or she has given and there should not be any shorts of backlog in the previous semesters. I plan to do a masters in English after my course is over.

The fees is really minimal , which ranges around 5000 to 15000 rupees which is not much compared to any other colleges or universities. There are many scholarships which is provided by the state government that is the west bengal government such as Swami Vivekananda's merit scholarship which is 12000 rupees for an arts graduate 18000 for BSC and kanyashree for the girls students which is approximately 25000 and it is one time the previous two are early scholarships and these requires a 60% and above marks or sgpa or CGPA in any of the semesters. If there is any backlog in any semester you want be eligible for this scholarships anymore. All the very less companies come to hire there employees from our college but still there is always students week in the first week of January where around 10 to 15 companies come ranging from TCS to axis Bank and cognizant. The average salary given is a round 2.78 lakh per annum m to 3.5 lakh per annum.

There is not much to say but there are around 5 to 6 sporting events occurring every year football athletics cricket e sports and many more there is also scope for students who are interested in singing dancing modelling any source of instrument. There are many social groups and clubs around every department there is NCC NSS scout and guide and others. The campus life is really good and one will definitely enjoy.

The eligibility criteria of any course that you apply for differs it may be 80% and above to 95% and above. The process of admission is releasing simple one mus need to go to the Calcutta University website and choose the course choose the college in which they want to apply and then wait for the merit list to come and then if you are in the top 50 then you will definitely get the college.

The student teacher ratio is 60:1 , all the professors are very learned and are always ready to help not only in the studies but also in all the different aspects of life . They Look for students who require major nurturing and help them the way it is required.
