Likes
- The faculties of the English department are excellent. Especially Shrutimala mam and Tashrina mam. They have the ability to keep the whole class into their attention for the entire period.
- The college location is very convenient plus Dighalipukhuri park is an extra bonus for the bonus.
- The college canteen serve decent food for the price you pay.
Dislikes
- College common bathroom needs daily cleaning. Also no running water as well.
- The college infrastructure is not upto the mark. Need furnishing here snd there.
- The classes for the general subject are very congested.
Course Curriculum Overview
The content mentioned in the course is aligned with the real-world application if you are interested in the teaching profession. Also, the exams could be quite a pressure because the evaluations done by certain teachers are not generous I feel. The course curriculum is completed on time. So in that case it gets demotivating.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is decent as far the facilities is being provided by the college. In certain case Scholarship are provided to the students by the govt. I also availed the NSP Post- Matric scholarship for two academic years. Per year a rupees of 10, 500 is credited to the beneficiary account. Also interested student can inquire about the scholarship given by the central govt like Ishan Uday for meritous students securing above 75% in their Higher Secondary exam.
Campus Life
One major event is held yearly that is the college week. It last for a duration of 1 week. In the college week different kinds of sports, art and culture activities are hosted and the winning individual gets a medal or trophy. The freshers program which is also held can also be counted as one social event and it is one good way of getting to know the juniors.
Admission
The students can get the admission form from the college website. Available both in online and offline mode. After the individual submits the form the college will declare the merit list for the eligible candidate. Criteria for eligibility is the students need to have a minimum percentage of 55% although it is merit-based reservation is also there. For reservations, the students need to have a valid Caste certificate, and the same for students who want to avail of the free admission facility.
Faculty
The faculty of the English department are quite good. Few teachers are lovely and treat the students like their own children hence there is no gap between teachers and students. My personal favorite is Shruti mam. She carry such aura that makes me feel excited to attend her class.
