I took this course of computer science because I am very interested in this.I am very happy that our faculty is helping me with that. Our semester exam is hold after every 6 months and the quality of the question papers are standard.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two types of fees in every semester.One n start of the semester as tution and lab fee and other is exam fee 2 weeks before the exam was hold.The overall cost is around 10000 every semester and amount of 60000 for the total course. We have provided some scholarship form the college and it's very helpful to us.

Campus Life

The college held many programs like annual fest in every winters and Saraswati Puja. There many kind of books available in the library including the books related to our syllabus and other books like story, journal, biography etc. The playground is very big and we used to play games like football cricket etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is in a very quiet place and rooms are big enough to have room for two people.The quality of meal is decent we are provided chicken,fish ,egg in our menu. For hostel registration students have to show there college admission papers and fill up a form.

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

For this course you must pass the 12th standard exam with science with above 75 percentage. The application form and other thing to application process is provided in the college portal. There are 10% seats are reserved. The admission portal is often take too long time to process.

Faculty

The faculty is good.The professors teaches us properly.The infrastructure of the faculty is so good.we have enough computers, we also have projectors for classes.Over all the environment of the department is good enough to study.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

How an average student sees his College

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.

A good government aided college

I applied for Siliguri college, Darjeeling college, Kurseong college and I get the chance of admission in these colleges. But I choose ac college over the other colleges because the college is very renowned and my department the department of botany have produced many university toppers. The admission process is simple.
