Likes
- The campus is very clean and safe. The lecture halls are comfortable and spacious.
- The seniors are helping in studies, they provide us their books so we don’t need to buy so many books. The library of the college also has a vast Collection of books which we can borrow.
- The faculties are very good at explaining and making us understand the topics. Regular tests and exams are being conducted
Dislikes
- I wished the patient flow was a little more and some other facilities like cancer treatment were also being done at our hospital.
- The campus is a little small. There is no dedicated garden where we can just do exercise or sit.
- The food of hostel is not that much impressive.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is such that we need to give our full dedication to it as it will help us in saving a life in the future. The curriculum is made in such a way that it includes all the essential information, skills and techniques that we must know as a doctor. The exam level is moderate. No doubt mbbs is a great course but it is also little stressful as there are never ending exams and too much pressure
Internships Opportunities
The internship is to be done in our own hospital which is associated with our college. The internship is to be done for one year and we get stipend of around 28 thousand per month. In internship we get to know about a lot of cases, we can see the patients, learn new things.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees per year for govt quota is 3,30,000 rupees and for management quota it is 9 lakhs. The students whose family income per year is less than 5 lakhs can get the benefit from government called as MYSY scholarship in which the boys can get compensation upto 3 lakhs and girls can get a compensation for upto 5 lakhs.
Campus Life
Our college organises various events in a year. Starting with freshers party for the juniors. Then we have our cultural fest called phoenix which is for about 10-15 days and is usually organised in march or April and includes activities like dance, singing, sports and day's celebrations, debate and many other things. Then we have Navratri celebration also
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is very nice. Very clean, so affordable, safe. The room is shared between 3 people. There are two ceiling fans and one table fan, three huge cupboards, three tables and three chairs and three beds with mattress. The rooms are well ventilated with sufficient sunlight. The mess food is okayiesh. For getting a room, we need to pay a deposit of 5000 rupees and the hostel fees is to be paid every six months
Admission
The eligibility is that you need to qualify NEETUG for getting admission here. The cut off is high. You can get here by state counseling either by govt, management or NRI quota. In counselling you have to do the choice filling then whichever college is alloted to you, you have to go there for verification.
Faculty
The faculties are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. They teach us in a way that we can understand very easily. They make ppts which they show us on the projector and then explain us. They also make us perform dramas for some topics like aetcom for our better communication skills and also bring some videos for making us understand the patient doctor relationship and other things. The faculties are good at clearing our doubts.
