Not good

If you wanna choose srkit as your college,its better to avoid mechanical department.

I took eamcet examination to join this college.I have secured a rank of 39900.I have chose this college because of affordable distance from home, affordable fees structure,suggestion from one of my relatives.

Our college follows jntuk syllabus and exams are conducted as per the schedule of jntuk.Mainly,syllabus is concentrated on core topics of the branch ie:-mechanics,thermal.It is quite good.2 semesters including 4 mids would be conducted every year.Mid exams would be conducted for 30 marks and semi exams for 70 marks.

Nope.our college doesn't provide any internships. They are rather confined to only accepting the students requests in taking internships from outside companies or industries.

When compared to other departments in srkit,mechanical dept doesn't have good placements and only less companies are visited,every year.Recently,our college tied up with PRADHAN MANTRI KAUSHAL VIKAS YOJANA(PMKVY) which is some government initiative to offer good job opportunities to students.Pmkvy also offers free courses to students to attain good skills and to get jobs.

Fest's,farewells would be conducted every year.college management also conducts annual day,every year.Fest's include both technical and cultural and would be conducted about 3 days. Technical fest is conducted on first 2 days and on last day,cultural fest is conducted.These fest's are open to all other colleges also.but sometimes they might end up as boring.

When I joined,college fees is 42000 rs in which we could get 35500 rs through fees reimbursement which is provided by government.Now,the college fee have been reduced to 38,200 rs in which you could get 35000 as fees reimbursement.you need to pay addition 4000 rs as college fund,during first year only.

Government would provide fees reimbursement to students belonging to OBC,BC,SC,ST castes.In addition to this some special scholarships are provided to students belonging to castes of BC,SC,ST Which would be about 2500 rs for every 3 months.

Campus life is good.sports tournaments would be conducted every year involving cricket,kabaddi,etc.The entrance of our college is filled with some trees which provides some fresh air,always. Talking about gender ratios,you can't expect girls in mechanical department in srkit.workshops would be conducted every year but not often.

Hostel facility is nice.Each room consisting of 5 beds.Mess food is quite tasty with about 4 to 5 variety of curries everyday.chicken curry would be provided 2 days a week.The hostel fees is 5,500 rs per month.There is no WiFi facility available.phones are allowed.

They relationship with seniors is not great in terms of academics and suggestions but they will show unity when it comes to fest's and farewells, parties that represents the royalty of mechanical department.

2 semesters each consisting of 2 mids are conducted every year.Semester would be conducted for 70 marks and mid exams for 30 marks.The best of 2 mids would be considered.Labs are conducted often.Each lab is conducted twice a week.They are knowledgeable as well as enjoyable.

I have taken admission through eamcet counselling.you would get a notification that you are selected in this college after you chose different college options in counselling. Then,you need to go to the college and fill a form about yourself.you also need to submit your passport size photo and documents like aadhar card xerox, income certificate,caste certificate,etc..
