The exams are easy to pass, and we can job-ready.

Internships Opportunities

I have completed my internship within the campus hospital only where I got more understanding about the hospital functioning and also worked in important projects of the hospital. But the sad part is I didn't get any stipend. Some organisations offeres internship with stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is higher compared to the market standards and moreover, there are no such placements. College scholarships are not available to all students rather than 2 or 3 people. It is provided to students with lower family income. Campus employment is also not available.

Campus Life

The campus life of Manipal is good. There should be much of extra curricular activities will be there. Utsav is most popular cultural event that happening in manipal campus. The availability of Library book is very good in manipal as manipal is best among health science libraries in the India. There is one organization in Manipal University where you can work for society. The name of the organisation is VSO( Volunteer Services Organisation)

Admission

The eligibility for the MHA course is any bachelor's degree completion. We can find application brochures on MAHE admission websites only. The application fee is around 600 (no entrance exam is there). Reservation benefits are not available.

The teaching staffs were good.. Teaching is also good. We were attending hospital posting la during our academic time.that gives us booster to learn the things better. Some lectures teaching practically that gives us better understanding.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum well structured with theory and pratical and it also provide the well pratical exposure to the students and also it provides the opportunities to the students for the journal presentation which will help the students to get more knowledge to how the research have to be done and help in get rid of the stage fear and also it provides pratical exposure in outside hospitals and also the teaching method is so good and understandable. The exams are conducting in a well structured matter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Theory: 12 theory classes in first and second semester per week and 9 theory classes in third and fourth semester per week. Various hospital departments as per list appended. The duration of the training shall be three weeks (72 hours) in each department. They will prepare a report at the end of each posting and is evaluated by the faculty. All candidates shall have completed posting in a minimum Hospital/Practical training: The students shall spend four hours per day training per week. All candidates shall undergo training in of 20 departments during the entire period of training. Practical hours may be used also for interactive sessions, seminars and symposia.

Course curriculum was relevent to the course and the content was apt to inderstand and to point. The course was integrated with public health which was significant for me to join this course Intenrship was provided for four months as a part of hands on training

Course Curriculum Overview:

Better scope for future in hospital management provides opportunity in HR , business lead, quality control officer, and so on. Best course for the people intrest in health care management. Exams are scheduled as sem bases for each academic year.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More
