Academics and co-curricular support is the best

There is no such thing as a bad remark that I can think of but as I have mentioned above there are many good remarks that can be considered. Only bad remark would be it's a pretty small campus but with all the facilities like bank, hospitality, sports , incubation centres etc

I took KCET for getting into this college.. I had a score of 91% in board exams and I got around 11000 rank in cet. I opted this college because its the best college in Mysore under vtu except for nie or Sjce. Placements are pretty good avg pay is around 3-4 lakh per annum. Overall it's good if u have a rank more than 8 or 9 thousand.

Yes the course curriculum in vtu is pretty old which is outdated in the industry but it is helpful to learn advanced technology. Only issue is with the correction of vtu it's not precise except for that everything is good. Vtu syllabus is vast and the time you have to spend on working is atleast 1month to completely have a hold on your subject. Focus on research is to be done personally support will be given by department but self effort is observed.

Yes the college itself provided internships but it's a paid internship as in the aspirants should pay a sum of amount to get the internship. It'll be done by some recognized industries and certificates will be issued in the end based on the performance.

As of now our seniors are undergoing placements and due to recession the placements have come down in all the colleges amoungst Vvce has a pretty good figure where out of 128 students 40 have been placed. Companies that visited are Infosys, Tech mahindra, Accenture, HP, Amazon and many more successful startups like ignited minds and many more Average pay offered is around 3-4 lakh per annum

Techfest , Vidyuth -cultural fest ,sports week ,cafestudio , barcamps , Entrepreneurship development events , learning factory and many more events and also students suggestions are considered and obliged. Vidyuth is done for 3 days and is the best fest among other colleges in mysore.

The fees structure is less when you get it through cet else it's a bit costly. If you belong to any obc category u will be given fees concession and toppers are facilitated with cash rewards. College takes care of most of the expenses during the academic year few times when it's required they ask students to pay half of the amount.

There is a fees concession for obc category students. Except that there is Vvce scholarship which is given only to the students who have good marks and also family conditions are checked and support is given by the institution for the students who need.

Engineering life is one amazing period in lifetime where you do a lot of good things new experiences and there is no gender description and ratio is almost same . All the extra curricular activities are supported and encouraged. There are hundreds of workshops conducted by college where professionals are invited and asked to teach. And most of the workshops are conducted for free. There is personality development training given every sem which is of the best quality training available.

I do not live in hostel but I do know how the rooms are since I have friends who reside there. The room standards are really good it's huge and very clean food given is of very good quality and the canteen food is also of very good quality. Hygiene is taken as the most important thing and maintained .

Alumni network is not so good this actually depends on the seniors and how you maintain your relation with them nothing to do with the college. It's entirely dependent on your view and behaviour but seniors are friendly to juniors and supportive.

Labs and classroom are class 1. Every equipment is new and updated exams are done verry strictly and seriously. And it's not hectic because the syllabus is divided equally and 3 internal assessments have been conducted to check the efficiency and capabilities assignments and test are all conducted once a month soo not hectic.

I initially take all the cet counseling sessions. Later we were given an acknowledgement number using which we could enter a college selection portal which will be open within 10-15 days from the end of counseling period. Once it's obtained you are allowed to choose ur desired colleges (Be practical do the research abt the colleges that you might get based on the cet cut off) there will be three rounds you can quit which ever round u wish and get admitted immediately after quitting. In the third round whichever college sticks will be allotted for you but the colleges will be chosen from the options you have given if you give RVCE as option and you have 1000+ rank it's a hard choice you may not get it soo be practical.

The faculty members of my college are well knowledged and have practical experience in industry. Of course few faculties are not good but it's there in every college and syllabus completion within stipulated time is done every time. Personal support and technical support from faculty is appreciable.
