Our college is good ambiance and programs conducted is very superb.
Our college provides opportunity for competition relating microbiology field.eg : Agarosh, Agar Art, Debite etc...
Our college provide extra curriculum activities on several clubs. Ncc provides much opportunity for future purpose and competitive exams its very helpful.Also Ncc helps me to improve my oral skills and make my leadership quality.

I'm opted Bsc microbiology because of it gives lots of opportunities. Out side the country microbiology is a powerful and a great opportunities were provided.During this course the exam charts are difficult to manage and the time is very limited in some semester because of the project and Industrial visits during the academic year.

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 3500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

According to my caste and religion i have no such scholarships. But I'm free from the exam fee because of the egrantz scheme of the government. Some fees like lab fee..is given to department.Actually around 5000 rupees is given to the college for my entire academic year. Other exam fee are skipped due egrantz scheme. There is no campus employment.

Campus Life

Typically a lot of programs are held in our college during my academic year. Fresher's Day, Union Day, Arts Day, Sports Day, Department Programs, Onam fest, Christmas fest, Ethnic Day, Halloween Day, Holi, Nadakolsavam, kalolsvam, etc. are held annually. The library is a limited number of books but it contains needed things for future reference. The classroom is good teaching is done with the help of a projector. There are so many clubs in our college like Eco club, Dance club, Ncc, Nss, Cinema club, Nature club, Arts club, Spots club, etc.

Admission

Eligibility of the course is above 50 % mark in the plus two science stream. Application is done through online. The site kerala university. Admission is done on the basis of index marks. According to the merit list 90% of the seats are filled remaining are done by management of the college.

Faculty

We have four faculties for the core subject. All of the faculty completed their phd and teaching experience currently about 10 years.One of the teacher is newly appointed and miss is the head of the department. Faculties are friendly and helps for extra curriculum activities.They encourage and motivate for the study.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemistry is one of the main subject in whole science and it contains practical along with theory.I preffered this subject because I don't really into bookish learning.It offers skilled learning also.Exam timing was relevant for a paper 2.30 hours and 60 marks for main subject and 80 mark for language.

From 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Our college has the best placement cell in kerala. Around 30% students are placed each year in our college. Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. The degree mark is not considered, all we have to is just pass the subject and obey the rules of the placement cell.

I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided.
