Review of Presidency University

In Presidency University the curriculum keeps changing so there is no definite saying on the curriculum. The exams are conducted regularly with strict evaluation. The University can implement e-boards for teaching rather than using a projector.

Fully funded international internships are sponsored by the university. But mostly students are supposed to find their own internship outside the campus. Since the university doesn't provide that many options to the students to choose for their internship.

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester according to their CGPA. The companies which visited our college are Accenture, Cognizent. The highest package received in the college is 40 Lakhs probably. Students getting placed from Presidency is quite difficult. My plans after finishing my degree is to do masters.

In Presidency University students come through KCET and COMEDK. The fees are waived according to the rank of the students. Scholarships are provided to the students. Students who come from Management quota have fee hikes every semester.

The overall experience at Presidency University is okay-ish. In the end, the university is a great place to enjoy. The library is available to all the students in the university. Club activities are regularly organized by the university. There are regular sports and extracurricular activities.

The admission procedure was pretty smooth for me. I came in the university through KCET. Students who come under the reservation category receive some amount of benefits from the university. Since I've come from the government seat I didn't have any registration fees.

The faculties in Presidency University are good. Some are helpful to the students. They encourage students to take up certification courses. But in the end it comes down to the students networking skills.
