An overview of Amrita

First of all I'm doing the course b.tech in artificial intelligence and data science in Amrita . We have some 7 core courses and 2 life courses like Ramayana and Mahabharatam. Each sem we have projects at the end which is a really good idea as by the end of the four year we will be having knowledge on more domains and projects . This prepare us to face the real world with courage and knowledge. Some ways how they can improve is , they can go a little bit slow , as it takes some time for some slow learners to grasp the points . And as they r going step by step only there's no that difficult to complete the course . So overall they r perfect in this education sector and teaching areas . That's the reason why I've choosed this college instead of other colleges , plus the placement offers available here is also damn . You can get placed great if you have skills and also they themselves provide some internships also . So it's great over all . I will surely recommend this college to anyone .

Companies that come here are all great companies like infosys , tcl . Vipro, Amazon , Google , Microsoft, Tata etc . As all sem we are doing many project we have great idea on projects so it's easy during the interview times .

There is almost some 75 percent placement rate in our college. It depends on individual skills . And the college shapes us build on our skills . I personally don't know if I'll opt for jobs and pursuing my masters . I have to decide on it.

There are totally four slots . These slots are actually categorized by the Amrita exam ranks . People belonging to the fist slab will have some 100000 as their fees as scholarships will be available for them . And second slab will have some 2 and half lakhs . And third slab is 4 lakhs . And fourth is the management seat which is full payment. It is 6 lakhs . Apart from this hostel will be around 1.1 lakhs . And various scholarships are available for certain category

They have 2 events which are held at high rank . One is the gokulashtami festival and another one is Anokha which is like a tech festival. Other than that there are small small festivals like onam and vinayaga chakurthi . But gokulashtami is the best . The library here is sooo vast . And well organized. You can find any books you want here . You can also type the book you want in the computer available here and it will show you were it is located in the library which is cool .. there are also sports and other clubs which if you join will get benefited

There are 4 hostels for girls . Hostels are all fine and good . Only con is the mess food . I mean the food is also nice only but it is always Sambar and rice . Which eventually we'll get bored of . They don't try something new. That's it

I actually got into the university through management seat which is the fourth slot . I didn't get selected through their exams . I was in some 17 k rank . So I didn't make it through the exams . I'm paying 6 lakhs per year . And I think they have some policy of giving Hindus the majority of admission which is somewhat not right . That is the one thing they could improve. I applied for the course in April and by may 24 I got applications letter for them . That's it

The relationship between students and faculty is supportive and warm .teachers are dedicated in helping students succeed both academically and personally.they provide personalized attention through meetings, mentorship and joint projects . This close interaction helps students with their individual need and builds strong connections between them and their professors
