Course Curriculum Overview

5

The filed of medicine has a wide range of scope in terms of jobs and health care. Being a doctor it's honour to serve people who are in need. I choosed Medicine because to be a good doctor and serve people. The mbbs teaching curriculum has a wide range of skills with hospital postings and village campings. The difficult levels vary from year to year. Difficulty level increases with the year to year cause the number of subjects and additional duties in hospital.

Internships Opportunities

5

The intership provide by the college is a junior doctors in the affiliated hospital. They provide a monthly stipend of 23k rupees monthly for the intership year. Then after there is no direct placements offered by the college but getting into a job is easy by this degree. If you interested in further studies you pursue further studies in medicine such as MS or MD.

Placement Experience

5

There are direct placements for our course but the availability of jobs are wide range for doctors. As we take intership as they marking a monthly stipend of 25k rupees for monthly. There after as the course completed our choice may be a specialist or a junior doctors. There is good scope of getting job or we can make a own private job such as clinics and own hospitals if possible.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the 1st year of mbbs the tuition fee is 15,000 rupees and for every acedimic year the same fees should be paid. At the time of joining the course you have to pay 10,800 rupees for sports. There are number of scholarships available for medical students. The regular one is JVD scheme provided by Andhra Pradesh State Government. There is monthly stipend in final year of mbbs till that there is no stipend given to the Students other than scholarships.

Campus Life

5

There are many events and cultural activities in our college held every year. The events are as Freshers day , Ethnic day , Graduation ceremony and regional festivals such as Christmas , Pongal etc...A wide range of books available in library providing a good environment. The lab are equipped with good microscopes and lab equipments. A student can form a clubs and participate in all events under the university

Hostel Facilities

5

The college hostel has a good environment with large rooms . They provide washing machines and hot water and a tv room and many more. Hostel has a big Play ground with all sports equipment. The meals provided was awesome and having good weekly menu. The hostel fee for full course is 40k rupees and having a monthly mess fee of 3.5k rupees.

Admission

There is a process for the entry of mbbs course one has to appear for NEET Examination and have to clear the examination with a good score. The cut off marks are different for different Medical Colleges but having above 500 marks make good chances for getting a medical seat. It's also depends on difficulty of NEET Exam and some reservation policies. The Examinations will definately get more and more though year by year. My personal thought was the counselling process should be changed cause due to conducting two counsellings same time marking Students confused there is national counselling and state counselling hence to make them as one counselling is better option

Faculty

4.5

The college is full of skilled professors having excellent teaching skills. The faculty to student ratio is our college having 250 students in a acedimic year. For every department one HOD and nearly 8 to 10 profffesors and one associate professor. Hence the ratio may vary from department to department but it's in between 1:25 which is a good thing. For every week they used to conduct exams and they regularly intract with Students.

The curriculum that we follow us CBME curriculum. That reflects the clinical knowledge blended with the general knowledge of mbbs and this curriculum suits us in terms of many applications to the practice of medicine. The difficulty level is increased for the final exams but it is good for the competition that increased in these days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1}the specific aspect that influenced my decision are my parent and relatives who hold the social stigma of being a doctor can give a secured life whereas nowadays doctor is one of the most vulnerable profession due to the incidents that are happening recently 2}the cirriculum is not great for students when it comes to the topic of facing real world situations as being in pvt.college doesnt exopse us to vasr amount of patients and mostly the graduates dont know how to deal with patients 3}the areas that should need an improvement is in imrpoving dissection hall facilities and posting lessers members in a sysytematic way to give time for each and every student a better exposure to the patients 4}the frequency of exams is adequate enough for an above avg student to cope up with the burdensome and vast syllabus but it might be diffucult for a below avg student and my perspective of the difficulty level is somewhat tough and stressful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually MBBS is structured in such a way that it helps students step by step to learn.. it's anything but perfect .. I am not in a position to suggest but when we are exposed to this vast world in first year which is entirely new to us,it is difficult for us to adjust. We step by step start learning to accommodate in this new world and by the time we adjust and start reading first year comes to and end and then only running,we don't have time to atleast cover our basics so that we can continue for further 3 years.. basics when we aren't aware of we can't confidently go into next years syllabus, but if we try studying basics in the next year we will be again lagging the next year syllabus and cycle goes on.. Mental pressure is the most common that we all feel and for relieving we don't have anything,no cultural activity,no sports,nothing.. that is why many are getting on the wrong side and getting addicted to phone, movies, other addictions
