Some good some bad

College administration department is not student friendly but other departments and teachers are students friendly.

The course curriculum is quite well but not so good. Although, it depends on the curriculum of RTU, so it does not have the latest technology subjects. But computer science department provides workshops on latest technologies like cloud, Linux, Devops, Docker etc every week. So it makes curriculum good at some instance.

College calls one or two companies to recruit students of computer science. If the student passes their exam than they can do an internship with that company according to their profile and knowledge.

Placement opportunity is good for students as many companies came every year to recruit students. Here many companies came with the package range from 1.8lcs to 12lcs. This year's highest package is 10lcs given by byju's and Amazon also. Lowest package is 1.8 lCS.

The main event of college is TECHNORAZZ. This is the annual fest of JNU. In this fest, all cultural, technical and sports activities are performed by the students of different colleges. Other than this here holi and diwali celebration events also held and meeting with Bollywood stars at least once a year.

The fee structure is a little expensive. As fess of engineering is around 1.15lcs per year. Here medical fees are very high that is around 18lcs per annum. Other than this they take fees for workshops and extra activities. And exams fees are also separate from this.

Education loan facility is provided by the college through Punjab national bank. They also gave a 5000rs scholarship to a student of topper of a different branch, every year.

College campus is very good as it covers with nature. There are many types of trees and flowers on campus and it is near the mountain. There are around 4000 students studies in this college in different courses. The gender ratio is also good. I think more than 40% of Students are girls. They also organise debates competition. Robotics competition only held in the event named TECHNORAZZ which I mentioned above.

Hostal facility is good. But mess food is not so good. Here single double and triple bedroom available. And all rooms are connected with ducting or ACs. Mess food is sometimes good but not very much good. Wardens are students friendly but sometimes they are strict.

Senior students are very helpful because they didn't feel us that we are juniors they treat us as brother/sisters.

Exam structure is not very good as they test students by their regular syllabus as we tested in our school life. Exam paper is also not very typical. Mainly it is very easy to solve and anyone can score 80% by doing average studies. Here 2 midterms theory 1 end sem 1 end sem practical and 1 midterm practical exams are taken.

I got admission in this college on the basis of my jee main marks. They also had the option of entrance exam and also direct admission but I got selected on the basis of my marks in jee main. The admission process is simple, you can get admission by three ways on the basis of jee-main/entrance-exam/direct.

Faculties are also quite well not so good because faculties of some subjects like Java, computer graphics, .NET, Computer Architecture are so good but other faculties are not so good to teach students. They can't able to teach some topics to students by comparing them with the real-world entity.
