Remarks

College management is well up to the mark and we enjoy the privilege of central University. management is dedicated towards the teaching and learning process.

Entrance Preview

The University of Allahabad organizes its own entrance test to all the courses. It is called UGAT,PGAT,CRET,etc.out of 300in UGAT I scored 140. I opted this University because of its regular classes and its faculties

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course structure is very hectic. One who is regular and sincere will score good marks.in accordance with the research focus, the course is just focussed on it. The course is lengthy but the sincere study will certainly make the difference. classes run regularly and are scheduled.

Internships Opportunities

Honestly speaking I have not seen many internship programs in my college but there are some programs of internships in the named as swachh Bharat mission and many others internship programs. Internships are not very relevant here.

Placement Experience

3

The University has special University placement cell in according to which the students are placed. Many companies such as Reliance Azim Premji Foundation come to our campus and recruits the students. the students of Masters program are generally recruited. 5 to 6 lakh rupees per annum is the average package

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship program that the students of University of Allahabad avail such that scholarship National scholarship. Students accommodation in hostels nearly get 12000 as a scholarship through UP scholarship program

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilities are very good and feasible.there are more than 15hostels and all are very beautiful really. They are well maintained with WiFi networks. hostel accomodation seat is nearly 10000. Nearly 12500 is the annual rental fees. But mess facilities are not well up to the mark.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are now top-level in the country. It has very glorious past in this respect. Senior students are very helpful and guide juniors like in practicals and in cultural events.

Exam Structure

Exams are very hectic but are yearly up to the graduate courses. There is a semester system in the Masters program. college going is here just not the chilling out it is more than that. Labs are organized thrice a week and are very challenging. One will really appreciate the lab facilities.

Placement Experience:

80% students are placed through DME with a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA on an average which is quite decent for a fresher entering the industry. The top recruiting are for placements are Bharat Express, PR Guru, Amar Ujala, Dynamite News, T.H.E.M.E.S. Over 90% of the students were placed for internship in Amar Ujala, PR Guru, Aaj Tak, ABP News and Doordarshan. Top roles offered are journalist, content writer, anchor, film maker, and back end roles like video editor, graphic designer and many more. I personally plan to go into video editing after getting the degree.

Placements of our colleges and mediocre. From 6th semester students become elegible for campus placement. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Placement depends upon the students applying for placement through college. Many students gets internships or jobs by themselves before even reaching placement cell.

DME offers several different companies that it has tie ins with for placements to students such as Gadgets 360, Aaj Tak, Myntra, PTI and D&P. 70-80% students get a good placement package. My personal plan following graduation is to pursue my higher education in correspondence with employment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself was nothing out of the ordinary material, it teaches you the basics of the field but the faculties were pretty good and helped us understand not just the basic but a little more so that we could actually be able to work in the environment once we get there. Also they organise workshops which was mandatory for all the students without any extra charge to learn from professional what to do and how to do it best. We also used to get projects which actually helped alot in learning with practice the theory.
