Remarks

I would conclude by telling that DG is a better college as per my opinion that other colleges in the city. Loads to learn, great freedom and facilities.

Entrance Preview

There isn’t any particular exam to be written to get admission. I had scored around 95% in 12th CBSE Board. This college was much closer to my place and provided the facilities like any other college.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The Course curriculum is really good. Teaching part is good and subjects are as per the syllabus. There are subjects regarding taxation, Accounting, Human Resource’s, Entrepreneurial Development and many more. Subjects are quite similar to subjects in professional courses like CA, CS, CMA,etc.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides internship only for certain courses such as BBA or B.Com CS. Internships can be done in fields such as Human Resource, Finance, Marketing, and Management. Period of an internship is probably for 100 days.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement and job opportunities have been increasing and ew companies have been approached. Companies such as Deloitte, E&Y come for placements.

College Events

1.5

Every year we have various interdepartmental Cultural happening in our college and last year we had our inaugural Vaishnav bazaar which was a hit and will be continued in the coming years. We have events by Rotary Club, NSS and NCC as well. We also have events conducted by outside educational institutions like IIT, MBA institutes to empower and create awareness about their respective courses to students so that they can think about their future accordingly.

Fees and Financial Aid

As such I am not aware of the leans or scholarship provided. But there might be reservations for backward and loans can be availed after approaching the management for the same.

Campus Life

1

Campus life is really good. The campus extends to 10-13 acres. We have hostel facilities, cafeterias, Auditorium and ground facilities for various sports. Also, we have our own library, various science labs and much more. We have ample parking space and appropriate entry and exit points. Our college is boats of the male majority but we do have female students. There aren’t cases of ragging or abuses that happen in our college.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network has been really useful. Getting to know the college, makes it simple to make a choice to chose the college or not. Also, the alumni can guide on how to go about preparing for each semester. They held us with college authorities as well as documentation purposes.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is well sorted and happens on regular basis. We have two Cumulative Internal Assessments (CIA) held every semester and followed by Model exams and end semester exams. Labs are well equipped with equipment’s which are very useful for a student to learn various things.

Admission

Initially once the results are out, we need to fill the college admission forms and personal details. We need to submit the school details and transfer certificate as well along with 12th Marksheet. Forms are received online. Also there is procedure through management quota and Sports Quota. Getting through the Quota requires talent and skill.

Faculty

1.5

Our faculty is well qualified and knowledgeable. They teach every concept and do not skip lessons. On a daily basis, we get to learn many chapters from different subjects. The faculty conducts a test on a regular basis in order to assess the student’s conceptual understanding and improve their listening as well as study skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.
