Amazing

The college is very good overall. It has a good infrastructure and and very good view from balcony. Versova beach near to the college gives a great view to the college.

I took JEE entrance test and I scored 95 in that. Since my Boards Percentage was 80%, hence my percentile Sumed up to 93. As I was always intrested in Computers hence i applied for computer engineering during Online admission. And comparing with DJ SANGHVI, RGIT was always better in COMPUTERS AND PLACEMENT. Hence i Opted for RGIT

The course of computer engineering is quite interesting with the well-balanced mixture of Hardware and Software. I loved the Software part alot. Hardware part was a bit confusing but yes in the later part it turns our interest towards hardware part also.

No, RGIT doesn't provides internship for now. But yes they are improving and providing some opportunities and hopefully in the near future they will start providing internships. Some of the teachers have their connections with some of the companies with the help of which they provide some of the students with internships

Placements and Job opportunities are improving year after year. This year placements improved alot as compared to placements of last 2-3 years. RGIT is known for a good placements in computer department. Hence the placements for computer and IT fields are very good over here.

RGIT celebrates 2 events lor to be precise 2 fests:- Icarus and the Zodiac. Icarus is the first fest which is celebrated in the starting of march and is celebrated on the small scale whereas on the other hand Zodiac which is celebrated at the end of the March is celebrated at very large scale. Its a fest of 4 days and 3 nights. During the daytime we have alot of competitions going on and 3 nights include the traditional night, DJ night and A special singer night.

Being a government college RGIT has a feasibile fee structure. For general this year the fees was 105,370 & for the rest of the cast it differs. If you are from TFWS the fee is 10000/-. In all the fee structure is not expensive at all it is feasible and affordable.

Scholarship are not there for general quota. For SC/ST/OBC there is a scholarship called Freeship in which half of the fees is paid by government. It has a quite easy but confusing procedure. The staff helps for the procedure.

Campus life is very good. Gender ratio is well balanced. No racism involved, each and everyone are treated equally. Each college has student parties so does RGIT. Each year the president of student council changes and is elected on the basis of voting.

This college doesn't has a hostel. Students over here stay in a rented flats in a group of 3 or 4. The flats are available easily. The food of canteen is very good and affordable. The food tastes nice. The canteen includes all types of food, from north Indian to south Indian.

Alumni is very good and quite helpful. Seniors are also helpful with no biasing. I have a very nice friendship with seniors. The seniors help with academics as well as projects

Exam structure I'm RGIT has changed from this year. Before we had 2 unit tests of 40 marks each in each sem. And after both the test the average is calculated out of 20. But this year the structure is changed. Now we have 2 unit tests of 20 marks each in each sem.

For applying in this college there are 2 procedures:- Offline and Online. As I was pretty sure that I would get admission In the Online procedure so I didn't prefer to go for offline. And by applying through MU site I selected 20-30 colleges for the first list consisting of high level colleges with computer and IT field. Since I didn't got selected in the first round. Hence I decided to select this college on the top of 2nd list with Comps and IT field. And yes after the results I got selected in 2nd round.

The faculty of the college is good. Without any biasing. The Professors are very helpful and caring. Each and every professor is specialized in a particular course. The staff is available anytime for any kind of help. The professors helps during exam time by giving question banks and some hints for the final exams.
