College needs to improve

No good remarks as final semester project , we had to pay 4000 and get it from our principal and in that also project 300 marks were given on basis of kannadigas and Marathi basis. All students who were kannadigas got % more in 80 s and 90 s and other were given less marks.

It was beside my secondary education building and it was close to my house.it was the one among the three colleges I knew.I went with my friend and enquired and thought it was a good and knowledgeable college.and those days Bachelor's of computer application was new degree.

We had regular classes on daily basis in the our college building. All subject teachers used to come to the class and teach us their respective subjects.we used to have classes from Monday to Saturday and from 10 am to 5pm . The classes included lectures of subject and lab in afternoon.

No, our college does not provide internship. Nor they provided proper placement. If they would have provided proper placement, our future would have been made quickly.

Placement and job opportunities are equal to zero. When we were in final semester ,we had only one company visiting and that was Infosys. We all were very happy but after giving interview in the end we all got to know it was for Infosys boo and not technical Infosys designation.

There were events such as inauguration of the first batch.freshers party for the new batch , IT fests will also take place wherein we will invite all the colleges in belgaum which has BCA degree and other surrounding states students to take part in the fest and finally in that annual day will be conducted with all annual activities as dancing,singing, acting.

It was expensive when I studied accoridng to me because the way they held classes and the way they recruited new fresh teachers to do experiment on our future , I will say it did not pay out well for any of the student of my class, we had to again pursue something which is still costing us. The semester fees was 20000 and there were six semester.

No I am not aware of any loan facility offered by our college ,if it had also they never told us our college was like that, information never used to get spread, favourism used to happen. And also main point no good scholarship was offered to any one.

Campus life was good, there was a big playground among 3 colleges and gender ratio was equal in our class and diversity also equal half kannadigas and half marathis . No extra curricular activities only a 2 day fest used to take place. To improve us in coding ,they did not put any efforts.

I did not stay in hostel but I had few friends from the hostel and it turns out that hostel was even not good in terms of food, staying wise it was good and clean but food wise it wasn't good, all hostelites used to run to their home whenever they used to get time.

Alumni network was weak because college curriculum was only weak, no body excelled that much so we could get any proper information, seniors student never used to interact that much with juniors as attitude issue, only kannadigas used to mingle more, more of a groupism.

Unit test and final semester wise tests will take place. As in first semester , 2 units tests and then final exam of the semester. This procedure took place for all semesters. We had 6 semesters as bachelor of computer application was a three year degree.

I and my friend wentfor a college visit and enquired about the bachelor of computer application degree. We spoke to the principle and he convinced us that this is a good college with all facilities . And the best staff and campus was also looking great.

We used to meet the faculty when they used to come to our class or else when we have free time, we used to meet them in their cabin. If we had any doubts we we're supposed to meet them whenever they are free and do not have any other class lecture going on.
