Faculty are very talented

The college is big enough to fulfill needs of a student but it will have to improve the medical facilities which is the most important thing.

I appeared for SRMJEE exam and secured a rank of around 26,000. I choose this particular college due to its high placement rate in Computer Science and Engineering branch.

The course consists of 5 units in each subject. The classes are 5 days a week from 9 am to 4 pm. The course curriculum is very useful and helps us to stay in touch with our previous semester subjects. It adds up to our knowledge which helps us in our final semester major project.

SRM University, NCR Campus celebrates both technical, cultural and sport festivals like Rubaroo, Innovate, Cybonito, Vajra and many more; where students from Amity University, Delhi University and other reputed Institute students like IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi showcase their talent at huge platforms.

Tuition fee is 2 lacs and hostel accommodation along with mess is of 1 lac. So overall it is an expensive college. Exam fee of around 3,000 rs. is taken in every semester to appear in exam. A security money for hostel accommodation of 5,000 rs. is taken at the time of admission.

Scholarship is given to a student on the basis of the financial income of the parents and the performance of the student. I have never heard about the loan facility offered by the college.

By the end of college life, you will be left with wonderful moments. The gender ratio is 4 male to 2 females in computer science and engineering. The students are from different parts of the nation which gives us an opportunity to know the different languages and culture of-of the nation. Students get ample amount of opportunity to showcase their talent in sports, robotics, debates and various other events held in college.

There are two canteens near the academic block and two around the hostel area. The quality of food provided by the canteens is good. The hostel rooms are spacious and can accommodate 3 1students in it. The mess food is delicious and follows a proper menu keeping in mind the health of students. The college provides sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. The biggest problem on the campus is medical facilities. You cannot trust the doctors and should consult a better doctor in Delhi.

There is a huge alumni network of the college and alumni meet is held on various events so that the students can know the challenges they would have to face and how to overcome those challenges.

Cycle test 1 (2 units) for 60 marks and Cycle test 2 (remaining 3 units) for 100 marks. In the end, we have the semester exams for 100 marks. In our final semester, we are supposed to prepare our research based major project which is summary of all the subjects we have studied in the complete course along with additional knowledge from internet.

I appeared for SRMJEE online exam. After the exam a rank list in prepared and the candidates are invited to attend the couselling on the specific date provided by the college on the basis of the rank. The candidates can even get admission in NCR campus by visiting the main campus in chennai on the day of counselling.

The South-Indian faculty teaching here are very intelligent and the way they teach is unmatchable. Initially, we had a language issue in understanding them, but later, learning the concepts became fun. They try their level best to make concepts easier.
