I would say it's a average category college. It will provide you education and degree but you don't have surity to get placement, you have to make on your all round development apart from keeping hopes on college management.

I got good reviews about this college from my school seniors and they got good placements from here. Eventually I also got placed from here. I have checked the records from my friends about this college and on an average 50% placement was recorded from here.

I would say course curriculum is not decided by the college instead by the University. That time curriculum was more focused on theoretical knowledge but now a days I see the education system and course curriculum are revolving and it's putting more focus on creating and practical learning.

No, I did not provide any internship that time. Senario might have changed now. We did our 3rd year internship of our own and collected the certificate as it was a must in curriculum.

Placements are average I would say. I saw few major companies like TCS, Samsung, Ericsson visiting the campus. Out of all the people placed 60% were placed in TCS and rest no mass recruiter has come here for placements. Though college has provided many off campus opportunity too.

We had many kind of events here. I have seen 3 inter college techno cultural fest and 2 intra college festivals. We had enjoyed performances from rock bands to sharyi. I have been in the organising committee of Mech tech events and I was a great learning experience throughout.

Fee structure is very competitive I would say, if you compare the fees from any other private or deemed University it was very economical. I remember I paid approx 1.2 lacs each year including hostel fees. 70k was college fee and 50k approx was hostel fee.

Yes, I know they provide scholarship for the Bright students with more than 85% marks in school. They provide scholarship for the ecnomically weeker students also. Though I never received any of these but I have known people who got these scholarships.

Campus life was really good. We had all the facilities one can ask for whether it's in sports or academics. We had swimming pool, snooker, TT, basketball, volleyball. We had late night canteens in hostels, clean washrooms. Very good atmosphere. Lot of competitions on robotics, debate and all were also organised.

It was just average. Sometime not all the situations are in your favor and we thought the same and formed a Mess committee. We improved a lot in Mess whether it's food quality, taste or cleanliness. By the time we left the college it was a trend to form a Mess committee and maintain it's management.

I still see mail are coming from my college alumni network and people are connected to it. Though I don't see much of proactiveness from older alumnis but people are trying to be connected whenever possible. Alumni network has helped recently passed out students in their job hunt also.

Exam structure is very old. You have 6 subjects in each semester, each subject has 3 internal and I external exam. Total 150 marks each subject in which 100 is external and 50 internal. Internal marks are calculated on best of the 2 basis. Apart from this few practical and labs are also there.

I have appeared for UPTU exam and scored 6000 Gen rank and got call for counseling. I attended counseling and in first round I did not get seat in this college, then I appeared for the second round and got seat here in ABES in Mechanical Engineering. UPTU form are filled online and you have to appear for the test on the test center.

Here in ABES I have found the faculty more focused on completion of syllabus instead focusing on learning. Though I would also appreciate all the hard work they used to put in extra classes and crash courses for weeker students. I had a great bond with few of the faculty here.
