Remarks

The college management is very supportive and the college is overall good

Entrance Preview

It's infrastructure is good. It has a big playground where we can walk and play any sport. It's classrooms are are also good and spacious. It also has projectors for better learning. The labs have good facilities and gives good practical knowledge. I chose ece because i have interest in this field.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is good but it is a bit outdated. We are taught about the technologies which are no longer used. I think that newer technologies should be taught so that we can use it in our day to day life. It is necessary to teach basics also but still things we use daily should be taught.

Internships Opportunities

No they don't. But they provide us with options through mails so that we can apply for internships in which we are interested on out own.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements and job opportunities for CSE/IT students is very good as many companies conduct placement drives in the college. But the placements and job opportunities for ECE and EEE students is not that good as core ece and eee companies do not come to the college.

College Events

3.5

There are 2 college fests that are celebrated in the college: first is a literary fest Eloquence and the second is the techno- cultural fest Corona. Eloquence takes place in the odd semester and Corona takes place in the even semester. Both the fests are grand fests and really help in moving out of the monotonous life. I have participated in the organising committee of both the fests and it is actually a life changing experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of is bit on a higher side. For a normal student to pay one lakh per annum is a bit high. Although they provide very good facilities but the fees could have been a bit less. The fee structure also includes some amount for the books we provided every semester from the book bank.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarships or loan facilities are provided by the college. As of now I haven't heard of any such thing.

Campus Life

3

The campus life is good. You see people interacting with each other. There are many societies like dramatics, literary, music, dance and many more. All of these societies welcome new students and everyone helps each other. This is a ragging free campus. The gender ratio is not 1:1 and girls are lesser but this depends on the branch. Labs are very good. There is a sports meet every year. The literary events take place in the literary fest only. All these things are really good.

Hostel Facilities

3

This college has hostel for girls and provides them accommodation and food. They donot have hostel for boys. The infrastructure of the hostel is good and the food of the mess is also good. I have not stayed in the hostel myself but my friends told me that the hostel is good.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful and supportive. I know many seniors who are always ready to help others even after they have passed the college. For the alumni network an Alumni Meet is organised every year.

Exam Structure

Total marks for each subject is 100. The final exam is of 75 marks. The remaining 25 marks are sent by the college to the university for final result. These 25 marks are further divided into two parts: 15 marks are given according to the 30 marks internal exam conducted in the college and the remaining 10 marks are given by the teachers on the basis of internal assessment.

Admission

I got admission in the college through IPU CET entrance exam. I gave the entrance exam and then according to my rank I was given the options of colleges who would accept students with this rank. I was not getting the stream of my choice so i went for spot counseling and got admitted to this college.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is good. They try to clear the basics and teach in the easiest possible way. They try to give examples from day to day life so that students can relate with the concept being taught. They are also very supportive and understanding.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
