Dislikes
- The hostel facility provides by the college is below average. Hostelers thrive for very basic needs due to the poor management of hostels.
- The warden is also very non cooperative and never takes responsibility for students. No events are organised in hostels and is pretty boredom here
- The food provided by the hostel and mess facilities is also worse which affects on our health. Even after regular complaints actions are not taken diligently.
Course Curriculum Overview
As in today, CSE plays major role and in our institution the course curriculum is good and well-organised. Day-to-day practical labs and training lab are provided to make us industry-ready and projects are given to help us in gaining the experience for the application of our knowledge. There are many methods of teaching and according to me using of modern technology in teaching can provide us more better knowledge and experience. Sessionals are held within the gap of two to three months and pre-sem are held every six months providing us with appropriate timing for preparation.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Wipro, TCS and many more companies provide internship with or without stipends. Various projects are given from the second year like clone web pages of Amazon or Zomato or Google or anything else.
Placement Experience
1. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. 2. Based on my experience companies like TCS , Wipro and such come here to provide placements every year. 3.The highest package of this year was Rs 27 lakh and minimum package was Rs 5 to 6 lakh. 4. More than 80% of students get placement and this ratio gradually increase every year .
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees increase for new comers and after that, the fees remain the same. The college provides scholarships exam from November to December for reserved caste. Companies come for campus placement and internships are provided from 3rd year.
Campus Life
The college organises various events based on timing and interest. The library provides all the books and journals required. If not then you can ask to publish the book for yourself. Classrooms are average smart classes are provided but ventilation and cooling systems is worse. During January college organises Spardha which is a sports event which includes various games including indoor and outdoor games both. Various clubs are there depending upon students interest like cultural club, sports club, literature club etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility provided is way worse than you can imagine. Students thrive for very minute things every day. The wifi doesn't work properly and the facilities that are to be provided are of average quality. The mess food provided by the hostel is the worst The warden is very non cooperative person and never wants to take responsibility for anything.
Admission
For CSE minimum eligibility is that you should have atleast 80% in PCM from CBSE or State board. It's application form is provided on the official website of college. If you are taking direct admission then you have to take an online exam which includes PCM questions, IT questions and miscellaneous questions. The level of exam is above average and is easy to score if you have studied well enough.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is good and the learning experience is pretty decent for everyone. Faculties understand the students and listen to their problems and doubts. They help in every manner for our betterment. We can always interact with teachers during breaks and free classes. Teachers also help us in improving through extra classes and during our interactions. A mentorship session is held every week in which our improvement is discussed and problems are solved.
