Course Curriculum Overview
My course is computer science it's a very scope full and interesting subject. the curriculum of this field helps to face and solve many real world problem which help's technology to grow and lessen manual work. Area's of improvement should be for practical and projects for student's to improve and know the actual thing to do rather than just reading from book's. Also providing internships in companies help's to know the working environment and ethic's.
Placement Experience
The student's of final year that is 7th and 8th seem like student's are eligible for placements and can be given opportunities to apply for companies came to campus.TCS, cognizant, TATA LXC,BYJUS and other same level of companies visit's the campus.software,core and sale's jobs are offered.highest package is 12LPA and average is 3.5 LPA.50-60% students are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's no regular hike of fee only once in many year's there is major difference in fee the tuition fee is very low comapred to other colleges and there are aided and unaided the fee is less for aided student's and little more for unaided it's according to KEA board.additional fee is exam fees which is around 2000 for a sem and cultural fest organizing fee are there.the scholarships are from Katalyst for girl's (NGO)and NSP and SSP government scholarship.
Campus Life
The fest held in campus are mAITri,sanskruti and kannada kalarava among others which are quite huge than other. We also have branch fest for each branch .mAITri is held in odd semester and during January or February soon after mAITri kannada kalarava is held . And sanskruti is held in even semester's which includes ethnic day, DJ night and night events to participate and enjoy
Admission
The KEA conducts KCET exam for 12th pass student's from Karnataka board with science background and according that entrance exam rank we get engineering seat. The cut off in our college is 10k-15k for computer science and engineering.we can register and followed process is done through KEA website.we'll have catse,income,rural and Kannada medium quota and reservation.the KCET exan is not that difficult compared to other entrance exam and the rank is given considering 50% 12th board exam marks.
Faculty
Considering faculty to student ratio we have mentor's for every 7-10 student's.the mentor's help and guide us for our academic performance they focus on our extra curricular activities.they provide us necessary information regarding our on going academic year.faculties are good in interaction with student's we have regular sessions we can talk and ask our doubt's regarding syllabus and other academic activities.
