SRMU engineering college review

Take admission only if you personally want I personally do not recommend anyone to take admission in SRMU due careless in there placement promise. In my batch they were unable to make any placement in 2018.

I directly took the admission in the college after my XII. Without any problems and entrance exam. There was counselling cell through which we have to go and take admission.

The course of the university is self-designed with UGC guidelines. There is a problem set given to the students after every week of completion of the unit. There is university test conducted after every 21 days the test is of 20 marks containing four questions each of five marks.

The university may provide the stipend to some of the intern people who are having good skills. Usually post graduate people used to do internship program in our college.

Placement is not very good in the college. The company of low market or unrecognized are usually conduct placement in campus. The university places the board of L&T, Amazon, Coca-Cola, Airtel, etc wich are actually not going to happen in campus which I suppose to be cheated. There is a worse placement in SRMU.

There is fresher party celebrated anually on the odd semester. The Anubhuti star night is celebrated in campus in winters. Rest we have holi celebration in campus and Shri Krishna Janmastmi celebration on anually basis. There are various sponcerd concernts in campus on various time of interval.

You have to submit minimum first semester fees before examination. It can be in form of cash or cheque. If you totally submit fees in one time then university may give you 5% discount in course fees. The late fee may be charged if the fees is not submitted on time ?500

Scholarship is provided to students who get highest CGPA in there course they may get discount of ?5000 concession in annual fee.

The boys are more in technical field than compared to girls we can see girls in legal or communication courses. The workshop and labs are very good in university campus it has enough equipments that are required in labs and practical purpose. The extra cocurricular activities are conducted in university on ocassionally basis there are guest lectures conducted in campus for different type of students in their related field.

There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. They have their own mess. There is a canteen and bakery in campus on contractual basis. They are almost ok type. Students may prefer outside food instead of campus for food due to lack of taste. They may have to travel a lot because the campus is in village area.

University is almost good and ok type as per my opinion. Placement are not good don't bother about it and then take admission if you want. The university is situated in village area so make sure that you have to travel more and more.

There are four University Test conducted in every semester of 20 marks each wich is internal marks. The final semester is of 60 marks in which we have to pass both totally. Is an easy task. Make sure of your attendance is minimum 75% never miss any lab so that your CGPA is maintained.

First go to Administration block then enquiry on reception then they will send you to counselling & admission office there they will discuss you about the course details and fee structure. Then they will enroll you and you have to submit your fee in the accounts department and finally you are admitted to the institute for your course.

The college faculty are good but really tell you that please do not totally depend on them. Some of them are not having well knowledge of their course especially in Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Always depend upon the self study. But some of them are highly qualified professionals like director of Diploma Studies.
