I short I can say college is very good which provide us all opportunities to get mingle with persons of different culture ,language etc.. College management is quite helpful

I had appeared for the IMU CET.As per the IMu counselling I had got this college I had seen the review of college on various platform the reviews were quite good. Scenario of the college is also good. Then after that placement record was also quite attracting.

The pattern of the course is so built to give a complete understanding of the marine field. It covers everything from the basics principles of machines used on board to their construction and maintenance. An elective subject like environmental science and management & economic are yet more essential part of living and hence focused here in the curriculum

No, it doesn’t provide any internships but yes the eight semester here in college is called afloat training which gives you all the training required for the job. In the mean time if u wish to go for shipyard internship the college will assist u

Placements are growing day by day. New bonds are being signed by the college with many shipping companies. As per the previous year record, the avg salary is approx $600. Dock and dale, B&W ,PIL are few of the companies that visited the campus and hired the cadets.

Staring from Holi celebrations in March to Christmas celebrations in December college outcast its unity in diversity. There’s no partiality in celebrating festivals and occasions. Teacher’s day and environment day hold much importance.students take keen intrest towards celebration

The yearly fees right now is 2.85 lack that includes hostel, uniform, and books. Additionally per month 3000 mess fees and examinations fees as per subjects. Quite expensive as compared to other courses but being a sea course it's a good stake. There’s no need to pay whole sum in a single go. Term fees can be paid in four quarters.

There’s no such facility available. But you can surely avail a loan from any of the banks and your bank would be happy to sanction the loan since the marine profession provides assured jobs. University toppers are provided with money.

Campus life is thoroughly awesome. Right from morning exercise, pride, flag hosting to evening games you’ll have the best time. Girls are quite a few, a reason you can guess. Our INDIAN society doesn’t provide much freedom to girls. Apart from it, the climate is lovely. With Ooty just 100km away, there’s perfect scenery in the evening time.

The hostel is clean and hygienic. One room has 4 cadets. Well ventilated and illuminated room. The washroom is well maintained. Food is great as per the south culture but guys from the north may face a bit problem in adjustment. A combined mess for all the cadets.

Yes, seniors are always helpful. They remain in touch with us to guide us and inspire us. Emails and numbers are available with college and can be assessed.

There are 8 semesters with 6-7 written exams and 3-4 practicals in each. Only fourth semester have 7written exams. Rest have 6written and 4 practicals. 8th semester don’t have any written paper. Further additional 100marks are for the discipline and attitude called credit marks here.

I got admitted through IMU CET exam in which I secured 3596 rank and through the Counselling I got this college. Exam was held through online mode for which allotment of centres took place. The exam was not so tough a person with good presence of mind and knowledge can easily go through it.

Most of the main subject faculties are sailors here. They have almost 10-15 years of sea experience and knowledge and are very efficient and keen on delivering the same to us. They make sure you get what makes you fit for the sea. From the theoretical knowledge to their practical application, they give their best.
