IIIT Lucknow is one of the best college

I will give a very good remark to all the facilities we get at IIIT Lucknow. It should ones first choice to get admission if one wants to learn IT and get a good placement.

I always wanted to take Computer Science as branch. But getting CSE branch in NIT's is a tough job your rank needs to be under 10k.IIIT Lucknow was a new institute whose mentor was IIIT Allahabad which is having the best course curriculum among the Central government funded institutions and placements of IIITA is damn good. So to get a good grasp of IT branch and having a mastery in coding and programming one can go for IIIT Lucknow. Here one will learn programming as well as get good placements even better than old and well established NIT's. In my opinion one should defintely go for IIIT Lucknow as the environment here is very good and course curriculum is uncomparable.

The course curriculum at IIIT Lucknow is very good and is at par compared with old and well established NIT's and IIT's having world's best course curriculum. The college has adopted the course curriculum of its mentor institute IIIT Allahabad which has proven over the years of its establishment that they have one of the finest course curricula in India. Their coding culture is not in comparison with IIT's even. IIIT Lucknow is on the similar way as its mentor having some great coders and good placements.

Yes, our college does provide internships. 2 months internships and 6 months internships both are provided. The 2-month summer internship is for 3rd-year students and 6-month internship is for final year undergraduate students in some big tech giants where they have been offered full-time employment. 8th semester is having an only a major project so students are judged on their company projects. The average stipend in a 2-month internship is around 35-40k and for 6-month internship average stipend is around 30k per month.

Placements at IIIT Lucknow is the best. I am aware of the stats as I was the Overall Coordinator of Training and Placement Cell, IIIT Lucknow. Placement of IIIT Lucknow is better than most of NIT's in terms of average package and is comparable to some top NIT's and IIIT's. IIIT Lucknow is having the highest first batch average. Some of the prominent recruiters were Directi, Coordination, Goldmann Sachs, Accolade, etc. And the average package is also above 11 lakhs. The events here at IIIT Lucknow are cultural fest and technical fest. Technical fest consists of events related to coding events and hackathons. The cultural fest is for cultural events having DJ night and Celebrity night and other fun and musical events. We also have sports fest organized every year.

The fee structure is a bit expensive for a middle-class family belonging guy. Tuition fees are 90k per semester. But we do get a scholarship which is around 60% of the fees we pay. Also, placements are good so whole fees are taken out in just 1 year after college placements.

Hostels are the best. They are spacious and newly designed with 2 almirahs in each room. Bathrooms are also good with geysers and all other facilities. Hostels are proper Ventilated. 1st and 2nd-year students get hostel rooms with double occupancy and from 3rd year onwards single room is given. Mess food is not that good. But we have add-ons over and above mess food.

2015 batch that is my batch is right now the most senior batch of IIIT Lucknow. Batch is almost 75% placed and most of the students were good at coding and have got a job in MNC's. They will go to companies and create an alumni network.

Exam structure is the same which is followed in colleges of national Importance. Here each subject is of 150 marks for theory and 100 marks for the lab. The student needs to do well in both theory and lab to get a good grade. Grading is done out of 10.And average grade is 7 CGPI. Total credits throughout the Btech is 183 credits which are divided in 8 semesters with last semester having an only major project. The course comprises of 3 mini and 1 major project.

I got admission at IIIT Lucknow based on my JEE Mains rank. IIIT Lucknow is a college of national importance so one needs to get good marks to get admit here. I got 156 marks in my first attempt of JEE mains and IIIT Lucknow was my first priority based on my marks and rank in JEE. One needs to do Choice filling of colleges with branch as per their rank and choice. Then Josaa allocates one of the college based on his/her choice in the Choice filling process.

The faculty here are very good. They have in-depth knowledge of their subjects. Cours structure is beautifully designed having all the courses one needs to know in the IT branch. Most of the faculty is having 5-10 years teaching experience from reputed universities. They have a through knowledge of their subjects. And students to faculty ratio is 6:1. They clear our doubts even after classes.
