The overall remark about the college is that, it's pretty good, management is although average. Location of the college is not in urban region, and it creates problem, but overall it's good.
Entrance Preview
JCECE (JHARKHAND COMBINED ENTRANCE COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION) is the only way to get admission in this college. I scored 64.6 marks out of 150 and a CML Rank of 713. I opted this college because it is a very good college and there is good placement too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Talking about the Course structure, its quite good as there are certain labs for certain department. There are various branches in BIT SINDRI, and for every branch there are certain labs, so that students from their respective branches will be able to get more and more knowledge about their branch paper and also they may gain some practical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, in this summer vacation, there is a summer internship program for the students of BIT as well as also for the other college students. Siemens workshop provide internship to the students.
Placement Experience
Talking about the placement and job opportunity, it is increasing day by day. Companies like TATA, Vedanta, TCS, WIPRO, CAREER POINT etc are the regular companies which hires students from this college. Also these companies provide a good package. Out of ten, I'll give 8 points in the field of placement records.

There are a lot of events celebrated in my college such as FOYC( its a social and cultural event) BITANSH( its a cultural fest) SANDHAN (its a technical fest which involves robo war roborace, robomaze and various types of technical event). Also Metallurgy branch of BIT SINDRI organizes DHATVIKA,
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are very less. Annual fee including Tuition fee is around rupees 15000/-. Apart form that, yearly hostel and electricity charges are around rupees 4500/-. Also there is Examination fee per semester which is around rupees 2850/-. These includes all major fees
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there are such type of loans, students may get a scholarship if he or she belongs reserved category and also fee is not too high to demand for a concession if your income about 5 lpa.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is approx 4:1 boys to girls. It actually depends on the branch, for example branches like mechanical and mining sex ratio is zero for girls while in chemical and electrical, its not like that. Talking about sports, college is having a c G that is also known as club ground.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel has changed and also it is very good on condition. the rooms had been built with high ceilings that provide a student better comfort throughout the year. We don’t have any proper place near our college to visit ,so its better to reside in our hostels most of the time.
Exam Structure
Exams at BIT are totally strict. A student must be prepared as it creates a hectic schedule before the examination, if the student is not prepared. Theory is of 70 marks and 30 marks consists of three class test and a mid sem. And also there are some Viva's for certain subjects, and it helps in improving the grades.
Admission
During admission procedure, student must be conscious towards the dates and everything related to admission procedure. At very first, two counselling will be held. Students will get their respective branches according to their CML ranks. Thereafter, a date will be fixed by the administration, on that day students will have to visit the college for their admission procedure.
Faculty
College faculties are outstanding, some newly recruited assistant professors are not so much good but few of them are good and the senior professors are outstanding. They are very much qualified. Almost everyone has done PhD in their respective fields.
