Remarks

In a nutshell i would recommend this college, as it has good faculty, good ambience, great placements and its great fun to be there.

Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET and scored 971 rank i wanted to get into electronics and communication engineering and this was one of the top colleges in Hyderabad so i joined this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses were designed by Osmania University and as our college comes under Osmania University we followed the same courses and they were great.

Internships Opportunities

No Internship was available in our College when i studied i.e., in 2004-2008.Now that Vasavi has become an independent Deemed College, i guess there must be enough internships being offered now.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good.Almost all big MNCs (CTS, TCS, Wipro, Delloite, Broadridge) etc came and selected students across various departments infact more than 80% of the students got placed in campus interviews.

College Events

Through out the year, there were many technical and cultural events organized in our college. That give good opportunities for everyone to showcase their talents and learn new technologies and also have fun at cultural events our Annual Cultural event is.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When i was studying it was following the state govt norms and annual fee was around 22000/- and now as it has become autonomous the fee i believe is quite high.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any loan or scholarship, and as per my knowledge our college doesn't offer any loans or schloarships.

Campus Life

Campus life was very memorable we had enough sports facilities like Chess, Carroms, Volley Ball, Basket ball, Cricket ground and good labs for each department.

Hostel Facilities

There is not college hostel for our college as the area was not quite big but the canteen and mess there provided decent food.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Still we are in touch with our college. Annually alumni meets happen and also we given a chance to interact with the new batches in the college and share our experience and guide them.

Exam Structure

Exams were never very hectic we always had enough time to prepare for them also there was a gap of atleast 2 days between each exam which allowed us to revise and be well prepared for the exam.

The exams can be done for once in two months and that are considered as mid examinations before that there is a lab internal after 2 months again these will happen after that lab externals and semester will be done total semester will be done by 6months including preparation holiday and regular holidays

I selected civil engineering course as of my intrest because civil was my interest since the beginning It's just developed like that .I feel like my civil related subject faculty are good.i hope my 4years jounery in snits goes well.As of now civil engineering is treated good in my college.

College for people with more money

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college,we get placement training from our 5th semester and in 7th semester we are eligible for the campus placements, the highest package they mentioned was 60lpa. Over the placements are good and you need to get 65% in your exams for the eligibility of campus placements

Comming to course if you study for atleast imp u will survive no matter how hard the paper is and curriculum is easy to get on there is no issue in syllabus and other study related but he have to put minimum efforts to suvive through backlogs

The College placements will be available eligible for the students of 4th-year 1st semester there is a number of companies visited almost 100 companies like TCS Infosys for exam and there is a highest package of 40 lacks per annum and average package 6 lakhs per annum and there is a placement of about 98 percentage and my plan is after getting the degree is to get a job in a multinational company

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
