Pros and cons of svvv

Good college when compared to private colleges in Madhya Pradesh but you can find better colleges in other states . overall college is good but lacks in placement.

At my time jee main was the only option to get admission in SVVV(formally know as SVITS).But now it also conducts its own entrance test know as SVET.my score was 88 in jee mains.i had selected svits because it was a renowned institute of indore.

Course structure of Svvv is best,far better than Rgpv which is government university of madhya pradesh and almost all college follows its course structure.The course is designed in collaboration with companies like IBM and Redhat,which regularly changes as per industrial needs .you will gets branches with specialization in cloud computing,cyber security e.tc.overall course structure is designed to get you a good job.you will also get enough opportunities for research work

Internship is provided only by TCS which comes in month of may or june to conduct a test and select student for internship.the internship provided by TCS is work fron home internship with zero stipend .Every year 10 12 students are selected for internship.

Placements are average.only TCS is mass recruiter which offers placement to 100 to 120 students every year on package of 3.4 to 3.6 lakhs.there are some other recruiters like Systango,Voltas,Raymonds,fedral bank e.t.c but all these companies offer placement to only 4- 5 students each on packages ranging from 3 to 8 lakhs.

All variety of events are organised in college . Events are too frequent that there are 2-3 events per day on an average.you will get good platform to showcase your talent.you can also join various groups of college like photography entrepreneur cell,NGO,cultural group e.tc where you can learn new things

Since the college is run by social trust fee is very less as compared to facilities provided by college . annual fee for college is about 80k.and additional bus fee which is at present 12k for Indore students and 16k for dewas and ujjain students.you need to pay annual fee in two installments after every semester.

Scholarship is provided by the trust which runs the college to economically backwards class.there whole college fee is paid by the trust.you can get bank loans easily

Campus is very good with well maintained gardens a fully furnished library,sports field and good labs.gender ratio is 30:70 obviously more boys as compared to girls.you can get extra help from college if you are working on some good projects.mostly there are students from mp but you will find some students form up and bihar as well .

Hostel is cheapest in the city.both boys and girls hostel are available which are outside the college campus but now new hostel are under construction inside the college campus.1,2,and 3 seater rooms are available.rooms are neat and clean occupied with basic furniture.mess food is good of girls hostel and worst of boys hostel.wifi is available in both hostel.girls hostel is somewhat strict

Every year alumni meet is organised for networking between students and alumni.since its an renowned institute you can find alumni in All major companies on high post as well.

Labs are scheduled as per scheme.overall schedule of classes and labs is chilled out with no more than 7hr of classes and labs per day.Exam are strictly organised as per the academic calendar on not to frequent bases there is sufficient time to prepare for exam

Firstly you need to register on mp the website for counseling registrations process generally starts in june,after registration you need to go for document verification in government college near you.then you need to fill the choices for your college with branch as per your preference then finally seats are allotted,after that you need to report in your allotted college in given time duration.

Most of the faculties are post graduated and some are Phds.All of them possess good technical knowledge except some of them.some faculties are very much interested to give you deep knowledge about there subject while other are not.you will also get faculties which are forcefully teaching particular subject because it was not there core subject in post graduation.But 70 percent faculties are excellent and rest are average.all the faculties are friendly and helpful.
