Likes
- The first thing I like the most about my college is the supporting staff and faculties . Behaviour of faculties with the students is really very good . They treet the students like their own brothers or sisters .
- And the other thing is the exams pattern of the college . College take internal exams regularly that will help in preparation of the college academic sllybus . Because of the regular exams , students get better result in the finals or semester exams
- And the last thing is the cleanliness of the college . In much aspects , college provides better cleanliness as compared to other colleges .
Dislikes
- As a btech student it is my personal opinion, one thing I disliked is the attendance criteria because if we attend regular classes , we don't have much time to build our skills and enhance our skills .
- Another thing is that they can provide much more neat and clean services as they can clean the watercoolers time to time . Repair water coolers and toilets time to time so that students have comfort in college .
- And the thing college should improves is the security of college students . Althought college is very strict about the security but there are some issues that can also be solved by the college .
Course Curriculum Overview
The course computer science and engineering is very good course and I think I don't have to describe its benefits . Although, the curriculum is the thing I think the college can improve in some aspects. They targets on theoretical knowledge much rather than practical knowledge. So that students have to learn the practical knowledge by the courses outside the college. This thing can be improved by the college . But one thing is good that the frequency and timings of exams are very good . College will take exams that will helps the students to perform in the finals exam.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are not the thing that college provides on a very general level. College not provides much internships but only some internships and in these some , only few students can get internship. This is also a thing that college should improve.
Placement Experience
Placement is the thing that will differ from year to year . But If we talk about average , college provides placement from the 7th semester. Some of the big companies like TCS and Vipro gives very good placements to the students. They generally gives 50 percent of the total placements in the college . Besides these , some small companies and startups will also give placements to the students . And around 80 percent of the total students gets placement by the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is the thing that the college can decrease little bit . So that many more students can take the benefit of the college course . If any student completes his btech degree in the college , it will cost it around 6 to 7 lakhs includes all the fees rather than transport or other hostel expenses. But one thing is college provides scholarship time to time . If you are in general Category, don't worry your scholarship comes from the second year definitely.
Campus Life
My overall experience till now with the college is good . Not very good but yes it is a good college with good campus. College provides time to time fest that will decrease the stress of students. And overall the campus is also very good. If we talk about library , we can say it will be the best thing that the college provides. You can get any book you wanted. But in terms of sports , college have to improves a lot. There are not proper ground of football and cricket in the college and they don't have coaching staff of sports .
Admission
If you want to take admission in B.Tech, computer science and engineering , your marks in the 12th pcm is 75 percent or above or your percentile in JEE mains will be 60 or above . If you have eligible by the criteria , you can directly apply on the officials website of MIET. Or can take admission through the campus office directly. Admission process is very good but one thing they can improve is the fees system . College should provide installment facilities also to the students .
Faculty
On the basis of faculties , this college is very good . The faculties are very qualified and well known how to treet students. The faculty to students ratio is not that good , and the approximate ratio is 1/40 students . Although faculties provide very good mentorship to the students . Students can interact with faculties any time they needed and faculties also helps the students in their focus growth also.
