Course Curriculum Overview
The course is ofcourse relevent ..... I mean this college is making doctors since independence but the approach to new curriculum seems off and not well adjusted for a country which wishes for best doctors.
Internships Opportunities
Intership is of one year covering all the departments of the college and that gives you all the clinical exposure needed for what you have studied in 4 years. Overall experience is nice and depends on the department and alloted faculty.
Fees and Financial Aid
Its a government institution so fees is decided by states government and you will always feel how low the fees is according to faculty provided but how grossly high it is according to the extra academic amenities.
Campus Life
Overall experience of the campus is good . We don't have so many clubs in the college and if they exsit they don't function that well. There is an annual event which being conducted is a pain and but there are so much other things that could be done in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good. Girls hostel is more strict than that of boys and the building being old is ok but the basic amenities are provided including the fees. Fiod is provided by messes and canteen which is not included in the fees.
Admission
The admission process is simple being a government institution you need a great rank in NEET exam conducted by NTA. Then there is counselling process for the seats which differ according to reservation and we don't have payment or NRI seats.
Faculty
The qualification of the faculty is one of the best in the country. You cannot miss out the opportunity of learning from them if you get one. The workload on guides and faculties make them so tired for teaching its then all about what an student can get out of the teacher.
