Entrance Preview
It was a dream to study in ISE branch and in my hometown, this was best Visvesvaraya Technological University college. Review about the college was very good. Studying computer science or information science was my dream and hence I opted for that particular branch. It is better to study at Visvesvaraya Technological University.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was pretty good as per Visvesvaraya Technological University guidelines. 8semister was as per the rules. Every semester has 6 theory and 2/3 practical. Practical session was given a live demo and later viva sessions were arranged for each class for the complete knowledge on the subject.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. College provides the internship. The stipend is not provided as that is considered as coaching, the overall experience is very good during the internship
Placement Experience
Placements during our time were but low. But now the placements are pretty good. Placement training will be given to students of final n per final year on weekends. Pool and off campus drive will be conducted. Mock aptitude will be done every month for students
College Events
Visvesvaraya Technological University fest will be conducted frequently. Intercollegiate technical symposium will be conducted every year. Flair - inter-college fest will be organized every year. The ethnic day will be arranged in college. The grand festival will be celebrated every year
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is as per the Visvesvaraya Technological University and government rules. Management seats depend on branch and influence that the candidate has come. Nominal fee for merit students. Usual college fee depends on the government seat. If it’s a management seat fee is collected according to that
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes. Loan facility is not there as per I know. The scholarship is given to students who pass the CIT exam will be given the free seat for the entire course. Including the hostel facility.
Campus Life
Campus life is very good. It feels like you are studying in a village. The vintage style of experience can be felt. Village atmosphere and free time hunting place are very beautiful to enjoy. There is no pollution in the outskirts of college. A peaceful place to study
Hostel Facilities
Very good. I started home hence I’m not aware of hostel food. As per I have heard about food in the hostel will be good but the cafeteria was small when I studied its good now as there is Chinese style food on the upper floor of the cafeteria. Overall there is good
Alumni/Alumna
Very helpful. Seniors come n give sessions on the topic they are working on. They really help during interviews
Admission
I got selected through CET. I selected CIT in the first round of counseling. Later joined the college on joining the day. On the day of joining there will be an introductory session followed by a branch visit and lunch. The complete day is still memorable. It’s a good memory.
Faculty
Faculty of college is very friendly and fast to approach. Simple and elaborated about the topics. They gave all the necessary coaching to complete the syllabus. The faculty is really well educated and capable of explaining things which are asked by students.
