Likes
- The infrastructure of our college is really good , all classes have AC and all other equipments required for the proper studies of students . According to me we have one of the best infrastructures in Kolkata .
- Second thing I like about my college is "faculty" . Really faculties are amazing they are very well mannered and humble , they understand the needs of students and support them in every field even if the student is weak they provide special attention
- Our college has a big library which is known as the "Knowledge Resource Centre" . It contains thousands of books which are needed by the students for their college studies as well as for the preparation of other professional exams
Dislikes
- I do not personally dislike anything about my college but as we all know every thing has some weak points .The college infrastructure and inside the building is all good but compass is overall "very small"
- If you really want to study then join the morning session because in evening sessions classes are not held properly and very less students are present inside the college campus who really want to attend classes
- Over-all it is good for those who likes things apart from studies also . If you like studies only then go to Xavier's because our college arrange many functions within a year which cannot be attended by a person engaged in professional courses
Course Curriculum Overview
As I have already mentioned our college is a good source of learning the real life , authorities of college always conduct many functions and programs which are highly essential for the survival of competitive world , as we all know our world is changing very fast they give us chance to speak and know ourselves in a deeper way so that we can get interacted with every spheres of lives . I think the campus should be improved because there are lots of sport person who want to show their skills also. Apart from these tha college falls under Calcutta University so it has same criteria laid down by the University.
Internships Opportunities
I am still at the first year of my college but I have many senior friends who have a clarified overview of internship and stipends of the companies that are provided specially at the last year of your courses But it is a well known fact that collage has a numerous of internship programs held during the year . We have a separate email Id where every information in detail is provided to us regarding the internship, duration and stipend which can be done by any student pursuing any degree of course in the college
Placement Experience
Our college has a strong placement campus which is really helpful for those students with academically bright careers . There are many big companies which visit to our college and make campus recruitment after finding out the real talents of the candidates . Companies like Tata , TCL and Mahindra tech do hirings of the candidates , the college placement cells become active when candidates reach their final level (5th - 6th semester) .College provides additional trainings to them in order to make them effective for the performance off work in corporate world , they give industrial exposure or practical skills apart from theoretical learning in order to make the students comfortable with adopting in industrial world . The highest package offered was 7LPA and lowest is 2LPA with an average placement of 3-4LPA Every year number of students get placed with an average number of 30-40% . I am still at the college and pursuing an honours degree in Bcom with a plan to do an MBA further .
Fees and Financial Aid
I am currently pursuing Bcom hons and the cost of admission for evening section is around ?33000 you have to give ?27000 per semester in order to complete the course . There are various scholarships programs which are given by the college to bright students that are frequently appearable in college website . I am still leading a life as a student of college but I can tell the college is full of fun and enjoyments
Campus Life
BESC is famous for the conductance of numerous functions and programs during the year . BESC always focus on developing the practical skills and interactive skills among students apart from theoretical learning or classroom teaching .Our college is famous for "UMANG" a great festival of the college which typically held between winter months like November and december.it is one of the biggest festivals of our college ,every student wait for this during the entire year , many celebration held and there is arrival of many famous personalities as per the demand and session of students. Last year when umang was held "Mohit Chauhan" came and everything went above the expectations. He performed really well at the stage and made a glamourous festive season for the entire college . Apart from umang there are many more celebrations occur during the year , actors like Vicky kaushal ,Varun Dhawan , Akshay kumar came for the promotion of their films .

THE BHAWANIPUR EDUCATION SOCIETY COLLEGE is best college in terms of infrastructure and faciliies, apart from studies you will be interacted with a lots of things which teach you the" real value of life ". The college will teach you to meet and interact with different peoples belonging from different backgrounds and cultures . Faculty members are very kind and generous they help us in every field. They always support those students who are weak in any subject and try to influence them by powerful study motivations . We interact with our teachers every day we visit our college , they are like our friends to whom we can share and hope for any support ..
